Episode 6 – I’m sure Takuma would never do such a thing

“Is it morning already? ……”

I wake up to the sound of my phone alarm ringing through the room and slowly get out of bed.

This is the fifth day since Alice transferred to the new school, and I’m still tired no matter how much sleep I get because I’ve been pushed around for the past few days.

“Ah, Takuma. Good morning.”

I’m starting to feel less and less uncomfortable with Alice in my room.

This is the fourth time Alice has been in my room since morning, so I’m getting used to it. Alice has been coming to my room every morning since the second morning of her transfer to today.

The reason she does this is to go to school with me, but is it really necessary for her to come so early in the morning?

By the way, it goes without saying that it is my mother who invites Alice into the house. It seems that Alice has come to see mother when she leaves the house for her early morning part time job.

“I’m going to eat breakfast for now, so please wait here for a while.”

“Yes~.”

I move into the dining room and grab a spoon from the cabinet and a yogurt from the fridge. I finished my breakfast in an instant and went to the bathroom to straighten my sleeping habits before returning to my room.

“I’m going to change into my uniform, do you mind if I ask you to step outside?”

“Don’t mind me, you can go straight out and change.”

“…… That’s not nice, is it?”

If we were same-sex, there would be no problem, but me and Alice are, needless to say, opposite sexes. Then Alice opened her mouth with a calm face.

“Since we’re going to be a couple, I don’t think there’s any shame in showing naked body to each other, do you?”

“No, no, I’m normally embarrassed.”

Alice persisted for a while, but I managed to get her out of the room. Although it had only been about ten minutes since I woke up this morning, I was already quite tired and had no desire to go to school after this.

“I feel like I need to go back to bed again.”

If I lay down on the bed now, I’m likely to stay in bed until past noon. But of course, I can’t just go absent from school, so I resist the temptation and change out of my pajamas and into my school uniform.

“Then let’s go.”

“Yeah, I’m in your care today, too.”

Then we set off for school, and Alice linked arms with me. It stands out so much that it monopolizes the gaze of those around me, so it’s quite a hardship for me.

“…… Hey, since we stand out like this, why don’t we just walk normally?”

“Eh, I don’t want to.”

I said it with determination, but it was rejected in an instant. It seems like Alice has no intention of leaving me at all. In the end, we remained arm in arm until we arrived at the classroom.

Within just a few days of transferring to the new school. In no time at all, Alice became a popular member of the class, but she did not belong to any particular group.

To be honest, she could have been a member of any group, but Alice didn’t seem to be interested in joining any in the first place.

So, even though Alice had been approached by many different groups, she had turned them all down. So she spends her lunch break alone with me.

“…..I don’t know if it’s right for me to say this, but I think you should join one of the groups, don’t you?

“Hnn, if I join a group, I’m afraid I won’t be able to spend much time with Takuma.”

That seems to be the reason why she does not want to join any particular group. If not, she wouldn’t have started calling herself my future wife on the first day at her new school, and she wouldn’t have suddenly started kissing me deeply.

“I’m just saying that now, but there’s a chance you’ll change your mind in the future, and if you want to join the group, feel free to let me know. I don’t mind being alone.”

“Takuma is my first priority no matter what, so there’s no way that’s going to happen, but I’m quite flattered by that sentiment, thank you.”

When I saw Alice smiling happily, I was captivated without realizing it. Then Alice noticed me and started grinning.

“Oh, are you fawning over me by any chance?”

“N-No, I don’t think so.”

“I see, you were fawning over me after all.”

I tried to cover it up in a hurry, but Alice seemed to have noticed. I’ve heard that women are sensitive to the way you look at them, but I didn’t think it would go this far.

“I’m sorry.”

“There’s no need to apologize, we’re going to be husband and wife from now on. Besides, being fawned over by Takuma is honestly very pleasing to me.”

I reflexively apologized, but I felt relieved when I heard Alice say those words, but for a moment her mood completely changed.
　

“But I will never forgive you if you fall in love with any girl other than me.”

The moment I heard those words from Alice’s mouth, I felt a chill like I have never felt before in my entire body. I felt so much pressure that I felt like I was facing a life-threatening situation, and I was completely immobilized.

“I believe Takuma would never do such a thing.”
