Synopsis
With her flashy blonde hair and loose, casual style, high school student Hirugami Seika is the subject of a cruel rumor: “She’ll sleep with anyone.”
Her true dream, however, was “to become a kind mother and build a warm, loving home with a wonderful husband.”
One rainy day, while she was at a loss after losing the keys to her apartment, she was rescued by her classmate and next-door neighbor, Houtarou Achi.
Wary of him—who let her in out of pure goodwill, not ulterior motives—Seika blurted out a question without thinking.
“Hey, why aren’t you saying stuff like ‘let’s do it’?”
“……Anyone who says that to a total stranger is the one who’s crazy.”
Houtarou treated her honestly as a human being, completely unconcerned with the bad reputation she’d earned.
Touched by his clumsy kindness—despite having been tossed around by his parents’ circumstances and having grown cynical about the world—Seika fell in love with him in an instant.
“I’m definitely going to win him over through his stomach…!”
And so began the excessive pampering of her next-door neighbor by a seemingly promiscuous but actually innocent gal.
Professional-level home cooking and devoted care while wearing an apron.
“It’s delicious. It’s a relief having you here.”
To turn this blunt but honest guy into a hopeless loser who can’t live without her, Seika spends yet another day holed up in the room next door.
This is a sweet yet frustrating next-door rom-com woven by a boy who has given up on the world and a homebody gal whose love is just a little too intense.
