“I saw Kisaragi-san leaving the classroom just now, by the way.”
As soon as I said that, the media around me started to approach me.
“Please tell me the details of what happened!” I smiled back at them.
“Just as I said. Reo………. Kisaragi-san said that there were too many media and that she was going to take shelter somewhere in a nearby park, so she left through the south gate.”
The south gate is the path that leads to the direction where Reona is now.
And since there is a crowd of students at the staff entrance, the media will probably go to the south gate through the east gate —- where Honjo is.
As I had hoped, the media would head in the direction of the East Gate, and the noisy sound of their footsteps would pass me by.
“Thanks for the tip!” Then, a few moments later, I take a different route to the south gate.
“I’ll leave it to you, Honjo!”
I muttered the name of one of my few friends, and ran to Yosho to move on to the next step.
◇◇◇◇◇
“Oh, here they come.”
I, —— Honjo Sena, let out a voice when I saw a large army coming from the direction of the main gate.
“It probably take 10 minutes until you get to your place” As he said, even though I was surprised that it came ten minutes later, I counted my work with my fingers.
“—–1. First, in order to further convince the media who believed Na-‘s words, I have to testify that Re- did indeed leave the classroom.
When I intentionally made the sound of my shoes, the media, who had only been looking ahead, noticed me and approached me at once.
Seeing the attitude of those who seemed to want to talk to me, I acted as if I were just an onlooker.
“Speaking of which. I don’t think the media was around when Kisaragi-san left the classroom.”
Like seriously enjoying the situation of “a classmate from the same high school being chased by the media” irresponsibly.
I deliberately keep my distance from the media, thinking, “If there really are people like this, I’m going to give them a kick in the jaw.”
“2. to lead them to the south exit where Ibuki was.”
I muttered softly so that no one would hear me and snapped my index finger.
Then, unlike before, I brought my face close to the media who were aggressively closing the distance, and I deliberately kept my voice down.
“………… Actually, Kisaragi-san left the school building closest to the south gate. The teacher had given me a key that led to the south gate.”
I muttered to myself, and the media started running away, saying, “We’re going to the south gate right now!”
Judging from the occasional voice saying “The information was true!”, Naa must have already guided them well.
While thinking that I was really no match for Na-‘s sharp mind, I casually looked around to fulfill my last role as the lone remaining person.
Gatan.
There is a somewhat dull sound, peculiar to the sound of falling metal.
I picked up the phone that had slid in front of me, and a great number of pictures of “Kisaragi Reona” came into my eyes.
(This is ……………)
This is not Kisaragi Reona as an “idol”.
It’s Kisaragi Reona as an “ordinary high school girl” living an ordinary life, as if she could be found anywhere.
The number of photos that never end, even when sliding, reveals the owner’s insane thoughts and obsession, causing fear and anger to cross my mind.
“3. —– those who are up to no good should be eliminated in advance.”
I tapped the shoulder of a relatively young man, about the size of a college student, who was moving in a somewhat suspicious manner.
I was so out of sight that he didn’t notice me until I tapped him on the shoulder, but he shuddered and looked at me and breathed a sigh of relief.
“You dropped your phone, didn’t you?”
“Oh, yeah. Thank you.”
He looked like a high school student.
On top of that, he’s wearing high school uniform, so there’s no doubt about that.
I put up with raising my eyebrows at a man who could see such feelings, and made a smile.
“Onii san……… are you a fan of Kisaragi Reona?”
he is wearing a wristband and earrings in the colors of the members of the idol group that Reo was a member of.
When I put the pictures of Ree on my phone together, I could tell that he was indeed a fan of Ree, even if I didn’t notice each and every one of them.
And the answer to the question to me was a clear indication of that answer.
“I’m ………… not a fan of Kisaragi Reona. II-Ihate her! I hate her!”
I managed to hold my tongue as the man suddenly started shouting, and I looked through his belongings.
The man was surprisingly easy to follow when I led him towards the back alley.
It seems that even though the guy suddenly started shouting, he was still concerned about people’s eyes, which was good for me.
As soon as we arrived at the back alley, the man showed his emotions so clearly that I desperately suppressed the urge to punch him.
“Do you know anything about Kisaragi Reona, by any chance, Onii san?”
Just make it sound like a question as a genuine interest.
But I would be a fool if I really showed an opening by acting like that.
I looked at the man in front of me, raising my guard to the max while forming a smile.
Then he blinked at my question and proudly showed me the phone he had just dropped.
“That’s right! She, Kisaragi Reona, betrayed her fans. There’s a guy!”
The photo on his phone showed Re and Naa laughing at each other after school, and I involuntarily took his phone away from him.
The photo has a big red circle on Na and Ree’s face is blacked out.
I wondered what he thought of my behavior, and he laughed loudly, as if he was getting carried away.
“So today, I’m going to kill them both at once. I’m going to beat them until they cry and make them regret their betrayal!”
My throat was about to cry out, “Screw you,” but I told myself to keep my cool.
Now is not the time to catch him.
To be honest, I’m tempted to beat him to death right now and make him sorry for trying to interfere with Na and ree, but if I did that now, it would be all for naught.
(At the very least, I should leave some evidence.)
Biting my lip hard, I managed to turn up the corners of my mouth to make an expression that could almost be called a smile.
I pull my phone out of the pocket in my blazer so that only the camera is barely visible.
After making sure it was recording properly, I spoke in a frivolous tone.
“You want to kill them both?”
“Yes, I do. I’m going to kill that man along with Kisaragi Reona! Then my revenge will be complete! Everything, everything is the fault of those two. Because she betray her fans. Even though her fans are absolute!”
“I see.”
I just said one word back to the man who was breathing heavily, and I stared ahead with cold eyes.
The man flinched at that look and yelled, “What the hell? he yelled at me, and at the same time, he backed away slowly.
“So,” I said, and smiled at him as I undid my hair.
During the nine long years of elementary and junior high school, I have always been called the “Ice Princess.” —– Unlike before, I smiled a beautifully crafted smile that was cold and icy.
“I’m telling you, that idea of yours is shabby.”
The man gulped at the sound of my voice and stared at me with glazed eyes.
My words seemed to have offended him, and without hesitation, he pulled a knife out of his pocket.
But that was to be expected, and I laughed again without showing any sign of agitation.
“It seems that you didn’t hear what I said earlier, ——and”
“You!!”
The man, enraged by these words, raises his arm, points the knife at me, and takes a quick step forward.
But that step, too late, was enough to give me room to maneuver, and I went behind him and swung the knife down.
The man’s strength suddenly slips out, and he falls to the ground, and I kick him in the vital spot.
I looked down at the man, who grunted as he passed out, and then I breathed a sigh of relief.
“You are a hundred million years too old to be anywhere near Ree”
I tied up the motionless man with a ribbon that I had untied from my hair, and with a snap, I stopped the recording.
The police officer secured the man as if in a hurry.
I sat down on a chair with him as he took me inside to be questioned about the situation.
The rest is out of my jurisdiction as a civilian.
While mentioning the man’s photo folder, I remember the childhood friend I made in high school who was overprotective and the face of my childhood friend I hate.
“—-I’ve done what I can do, Na-, Ibuki.”
As I thought about whether or not the two of them had joined up by now, I couldn’t help but pray for the safety of my dear friends.
