We bought tickets from the ticket machine and entered the theater with juice and popcorn. The seats in the theater were almost all occupied because of the popularity of this movie.
Incidentally, this movie is a road movie in which the main character, a high school boy, travels around Japan with the heroine, a college girl, to exorcise disasters.
While we were chatting and waiting, a commercial started playing.
“You know, I’ve always wondered, aren’t the commercials taking too long?”
“Yeah, I wish the movie would start soon.”
When I complained about the too-long commercials, Riona shared my opinion. I think everyone in this theater must be thinking the same thing.
After waiting for a while, the theater finally darkened and the movie started. I watched the movie while eating juice and popcorn.
The movie was more interesting than I had imagined, and before I knew it, an hour had passed by. As the movie was about to reach a scene with a strong romantic element, Riona held my hand.
I was surprised to see her intertwining her fingers with mine, but I didn’t mind and watched the movie until the end. After the end of the movie, I tried to let go of her hand, but Riona refused to let me go.
“Don’t let go of my hand, I’m going to ask you to hold my hand today. I’ll use the first of the commands you promised me at the summer festival.”
“…… I understand.”
It was quite embarrassing to hold hands with Riona in public, but once you’ve made a promise, you have to keep it.
“The next step is to go shopping. We’ve come all the way to Moonlight City, so I want to look around.”
“Okay, let’s hang out together.”
Riona and I left the movie theater, still holding hands, and started to go around the shopping area. We looked around at clothing stores, cosmetics stores, and general stores, and now we stopped at an accessory store.
Considering the fact that she was staring at a crescent moon shaped necklace, Riona might want one. But in the end, she left the accessory store without buying it.
“Hey, are you sure you didn’t want to buy that necklace?”
“It was more expensive than I thought, so I gave up.”
Well, it seems that the reason was that it was over my budget. It’s quite a shame because I thought it would look really good on Riona.
No, it is still too early to give up. If Riona can’t afford it, there is still a way for me to buy it and give it to her as a gift. And once that’s decided, it’s a quick matter.
“……Sorry, I’m going to the bathroom for a bit.”

Once I let go of Riona’s hand, I pretended to go to the bathroom and went back to the accessory store. The price tag of the necklace that Riona was looking at earlier is indeed expensive.
However, I think I can buy it with what I have on hand now without any problem. After purchasing the necklace, I returned to Riona with a nonchalant look on my face.

After a late lunch after shopping until we were satisfied, we came to the planetarium. We sat on the seats, holding hands, and looked at the starry sky projected on the ceiling and walls together.
“That’s Deneb in the Cygnus constellation, Altair in the Eagle constellation over there, and over there is Vega in the Lyra constellation, and connecting the three stars is the famous Summer Triangle.”
Riona knows a lot, doesn’t she? I was never really interested in it, so I only knew the name of it.
Riona’s explanation was very easy to understand even for an ignorant person like me because she supplemented her narration.
“I’ve always loved looking at the stars in the night sky, so I used to watch them by myself.”
“Wasn’t Reona with you?”
I asked her a question, and she immediately answered why.
“Onee chan wasn’t really interested in the constellations,”

It was interesting to know that even twins have such distinct tastes. If you think about it, Reona and Riona also have different tastes in attractions at Kurashiki Milan Park.
After the one-and-a-half-hour planetarium show was over, we went outside, and it was already late in the evening. Perhaps it was time for us to go home.
“We did a lot of things together today, didn’t we?”
“Yeah, thanks to you, Ryoya, it was fun.”
“You’re welcome.”
As we talked, we headed for the exit of Moonlight City and started to go home, taking the bus and train as we had come.
The two of us were chatting about the day when we arrived at Riona’s house and gently let go of her hand.
“Ryoya, thank you for going out with me today.”
“I had a good time too, so I’m satisfied, thank you.”
Thanks to the fact that I was with Riona, I think I was able to have a very productive time today.
“Well, I’ll see you at school the day after tomorrow.”
“Ah, wait a minute. Actually, I have something for Riona.”
I stopped Riona as she was about to enter the house and took out a beautifully wrapped box from my bag.
“I want you to accept it as a thank-you for today.”
“Can I open it now because I’m curious about what’s inside?”
“Yes, by all means.”
Riona slowly begins to open the box I handed her. The moment she realized that the box contained a necklace, she looked happy.
Riona is generally expressionless, so it’s hard to tell the change in her facial expression, but I’m getting to know the difference a lot better.
“I’m really happy because I wanted this, thank you Ryoya. I will treasure it forever.”
“I think treasure for a lifetime is a bit exaggerated, but I would be happy if you treasure it.”
Riona was so happy that it must have been a good decision to give it to her. Thus ended the day for me and Riona.
