“Well~, that was fun, wasn’t it, Saku kun?”
“Just riding a roller coaster is tiring, isn’t it?”
After we finished the ride, we sat on a bench at the exit and drank juice.
Maybe it’s because it’s been a while since I rode it, but I’m mentally exhausted. I’m sure it’s partly Shiina’s fault.
“Not tough enough~! I can ride five more times.”
“You’ll get tired of it before you get tired of your fitness.”
“Men who don’t have stamina don’t get liked, you know? Especially at night.”
“Shut up.”
I looked away from Shiina, who was pointing a can of juice at me.
“Besides, if I rode alone, I might get bored, but if I rode with Saku kun, I would never get tired of it.”
I took a sip of my juice and breathed a sigh of relief.
“Somehow, just having Saku kun next to me makes me happy. It may just be because I love you.”
“Just being next………… huh”
I muttered
Just next to me. Shiina just follows me around and forcefully sits next to me.
It has become my daily life.
In a good way or a bad way, it’s just not normal now that Shiina is not next to me.
I’ve been living that life for two years now, putting the screws to her fantasies, yelling at her for her odd behavior, and casually conversing with her.
“I mean, we still have time, and there’s still no line for the Ferris wheel, so why don’t we go to the haunted house?”
Shiina said as she threw away the can she had just finished drinking and stood up from the bench.
“But don’t you want to ride the Ferris wheel?”
“Well, we’ll be on the Ferris wheel in half an hour anyway~, and I want to see Saku get scared in the haunted house,”
“I don’t mind going on the Ferris wheel, but I have a question first.”
I stood up, too,
“What were you going to say at the top of the roller coaster?”
I’ve been wondering about this since a while ago.
I don’t get to see Shiina’s face like that very often.
“Hmmm~? Nothing matters~. Why?~”
Shiina tried to cover it up with a smile,
“When you were about to say something, you looked kind of unhappy.”
When I deliberately averted my gaze a little and said, Shiina was startled.
“What~? You’re looking at me more than I thought, Saku-kun.”
Shiina smiled a little and turned her head down.
“No, it’s been a while since I’ve seen you make a face like that.”
“So you got curious about me.”
“That’s about it.”
It bothers me because she usually smiles.
Shiina only makes a face like that when she has something important to say.
It was the same look she had when she was at the karaoke bar after she told me about Chisato.
“I want to talk to you, Saku-kun, me.”
When her back is turned, she says as she folds her hands behind her back.
“Talk huh…”
“Yes, I’d like to talk to you alone.”
“What?”
I snicker.
“What, Saku kun?”
“You’re just like me, aren’t you?”
