On the monitor, I see my own stream screen and Ichigo Daikyo’s.
I mute myself on Discord so I can just listen to the voices.
“Hey, Kon Daikyo~. Let’s get this stream going today~”
Just a simple greeting. But that’s all it takes for comments like “Kon Daikyo!!”, “She’s hereeeeeee!”, and “So happy!” to flood in like a torrent. I couldn’t be more jealous.
“So today~, it’s a retrospective stream! I want to talk about the good parts of past streams~, the parts that didn’t go so well~, and the pleasant surprises~! I’m going to be totally honest about chasing numbers and everything, so please bear with me!”
Ichigo Daikyo said in a lively tone.
“That’s way too candid, lol”
“Don’t say that so openly!!”
“I’m so excited!”

Everyone is happily sending in comments.
It’s this slightly sassy side of hers that makes her so popular.
They say her little devil-style V-avatar really matches her personality.
If I didn’t know her true nature, I might have had the same reaction as the viewers.

Hearing the lines go exactly as planned, I unmuted myself.

Daikyo laughed heartily at the comment section and said in a soothing tone,

I sensed a sharp edge in every word, and I could picture her smirking maliciously. Since the screen only showed the smiling face of a cute, beautiful girl, I thought it was a scam.
Well, but it’s just a joke. If it weren’t Ichigo Daikyo, I’d probably be smiling back.

I’m a proper video creator, too. And right now, I’m a streamer. I’m definitely not just some behind-the-scenes guy for this person.

A project where viewers send in photos of their “teenage-fantasy” keychains—the kind you end up winning as a souvenir—and we use a poll to decide which one is stronger.
Thanks to it being a strong viewer-participation format and the wide variety of keychains that appeared, the stream apparently racked up hundreds of thousands of views.
The clip currently playing is also full of excitement, with a heated battle, Ichigo Daikyo’s over-the-top reactions, and unfiltered banter.
To help Ichigo Daikyo, who was busy with entrance exams, I didn’t just come up with the concept—I also organized the tournament bracket images and even devised the punchline where I’d make Ichigo Daikyo’s ordinary keychain win using a far-fetched excuse.
“Ah, even watching this now, my keychain is definitely the strongest.”
Viewers are flooding the comments with laughter at Ichigo Daikyo’s words after finishing the clip.
“Even watching it now, that’s way too unfair. There’s no way a kitty could beat a Giant Giga Panda Golem.”
“Why does a cat have the ability to disassemble and regenerate itself, lol?”
“It can even stop time—it’s way too powerful!”
It looks like so much fun.
Since it’s all thanks to Ichigo Daikyo’s skills, I wouldn’t go so far as to call it stealing the credit, but considering all the preparation and effort I put in, I think I deserve some kind of reward.

The comment section is flooded with jokes telling her not to lose it again.

And so on—the momentum is incredible.

I put on a brave face and continued the stream with Ichigo Daikyo.
