After the New Year, the third term flew by.
After the final examinations, the school was busy preparing for the graduation ceremony of the third-year students.
When the graduation ceremony arrived, there were no graduates that I was particularly close to, so I just watched the scenery in a daze.
But when I thought about the fact that next year I would be sending Chifuyu off ahead of me like this, it became a little bit painful.
I wonder if Chifuyu was thinking about that, too, because she was even sweeter to me than usual on the day the graduation ceremony was over.
But even if the school changes, nothing will change in our relationship.
Because we were convinced of that, we didn’t say a single word to each other about being lonely or having a hard time.
Then spring came.
I became a second year student, and even today, a little after the new term started, I still go to school with Chifuyu.

As the boyfriend of Kayamori Chifuyu, a lot of people came up to me because they were curious about what she was like.

I was trying to ignore him even though I was irritated, but someone suddenly appeared and warned me about it.

The one who said that and drove away the troublesome person was Kikuchi.
The guy who used to pester Chifuyu was somehow able to protect me.
Well, I thought it might have been an ulterior motive

People really do change.
Of course, past mistakes don’t disappear immediately.
But I want to forgive those who regret their past mistakes, reflect on them and try to change.

The way Kikuchi treated Chifuyu and me back then was the worst.
However, Chifuyu herself reflected on the fact that she had hurt many people with her cold attitude that caused misunderstandings
Even though she wasn’t good at it, even though she didn’t want to get involved, she realised that it didn’t mean she could do whatever she wanted to them, and she admitted her mistakes.
In this way, Kikuchi understood us and changed.
We probably won’t get on well with each other, and we probably won’t see each other again after graduation.

So let’s go in together from now on.

The hot and humid rainy season comes again.
That rainy season when I met Chifuyu.
