Most actors and actresses belong to an office or production company.
And how do you join that office or production company? There are two main ways.
One is the regular route where you pass an audition and join an office.
Many aspiring actors and actresses go through this route as the last gateway after studying at a training school or regular school.
The other is through connections.
Let me say this so you don’t misunderstand. The industry is not so lenient that you can get in just because you have a lot of money or because you know someone in the industry.

On the other hand, actors are required to act.
As long as you appear in the media, you may be required to have good looks, but–if you only look at it from the perspective of belonging to an office, it is not a necessary part of the job.

When I participated in a film in which my sister played a minor role, the director at the time took notice of me, and I was cast in a number of films before being picked up by the agency.

This is something I used to experience in the past. Perhaps it was this atmosphere that made me feel nostalgic.
