Ao is a big fan of Kyou, the hottest musician in Japan today.
She has been a fan since before he became as popular as he is now, and has been in the front row at almost all of his live performances, for which tickets are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain these days.
Ao was on a holiday. She mustered up to Kyou, who was stuck in composing and strolling around town, and told him,
“I’m a fan ! ………Can I shake your hand?”
Kyou took Ao’s hand mischievously,
“Fine. Hey, if you want, why don’t you go on a date with me now?”
“Eh? D-d-d-d-date !?!?!?!? Why !?”
“Because you’re cute? Hey, what’s your name?”
“Oh, it’s Ao. C-cute is (Kyou sama said I was cute ! And it’s a date ! What’s going to happen to me now !?)”
“Cut ! I like it. Nadeshiko chan is perfect, of course, but is this really Kagami kun’s first time too? Have you ever been on a date before?”
“No, it’s really my first time.”
In other words, the lines are more embarrassing than the acting, and it’s even worse when Nadeshiko says things like [D-d-d-date !?]’ and [you sama said I was cute]
As for the dialogue itself, I had read the original Hekireki no Ao many times and could easily remember the script’s dialogue.
That’s why I don’t feel that it became too distracting……but on the contrary, I couldn’t help but feel like it came off as too much of a bother.
“As expected from Kagami sama ! ! God ! He is truly the best ! !”
…Well, it would be fine if Yanagi said so.
“Big Sis…….Was I able to do it properly without the tinted glasses?”
“You’re good. I guess your talent for acting is similar to your sister’s.”
In fact, Kagamiya’s acting was good.
He has a natural voice that is clear and easy to understand that other people don’t have.
Therefore, even if his performance seems like he is just reading aloud, unless he speaks in a very rigid manner, he has the potential to be more than just that.
This time, however, Kyou’s actor is Kagamiya himself.
Although Kagamiya does not say such awkward things, there are parts of him that are quite close to the real Kagamiya, such as [he likes people who like him] and [when he is in a slump, he wants to put his trust in someone]
Kagamiya is used to the camera and the public eye, but if he just follows the script and acts in a naturalistic manner, that alone is enough to make him a very good actor.
In other words, he is a good actor.
Ryuji and Ayame also recognized Kagamiya’s performance, saying, [It doesn’t seem like he was chosen solely because of his connections.]

The very first scene of Hekireki no Ao.
In the original work, Ao, the main character, expressed his love for Kyou through a monologue, but in the film, she could not talk about such things in a flippant manner.
That’s why it’s written in the script that the beginning of the story is when Ao cheers on Kyo while he’s singing live, saying, [Kya–! ! Kyou sama ! !”
The song that Kyou sings at the live concert will be the theme song that Kyou writes. That said
“(Oh no. I haven’t made it at all.)”
After it was decided that Kagamiya would appear in the film, about 50 days passed before the shooting began.
Kagamiya had thought of writing some songs ahead of time, but….
Well, the songs didn’t come down.
Normally.
“Whether or not it’s a good song is a matter of results. Just make it and put it up as you see fit. If it gets good reviews, it’s a good song, and if it doesn’t get good reviews, it’s not good.”
Even with the assumption that he would fail, he always put the highest priority on making a song.
But,
“As expected, the theory that it’s okay to fail with the theme song is no good.”
Ah, wouldn’t it be a good idea to just post the songs on the internet and submit the most played songs…no, it’s no good.
Kagamiya did not understand why his music was being evaluated by others in the first place.
Indeed, when Kagamiya makes music, he is conscious of making a song that makes him feel good when he hears it.
And then there is the sense of accomplishment when the song is completed and the pleasure when the melody is better than imagined.
He got hooked on it and was making it like an addict, saying, [It’s fun ! Ahahaha, it’s fun ! !]
But the song I made to try out this time is not pleasant to listen to,
I don’t get excited while I’m working on it.
That is not to say that the quality of the songs is lower than usual. It’s just that I set the bar higher than usual, and I just haven’t been able to exceed it in my Kagamiya way.
“(It’s a slump ! !)”
I know it’s not due today, Kyou thinks.
‘We’ve already started filming, and we should probably get the song up early……’
Uppp.
The stress of not being able to create as much as he would like and the responsibility of having to do so weighs heavily on Kagamiya’s stomach.
“….Let’s work hard.”

Ao, played by Nadeshiko, and Miku, played by Momo, who later becomes Ao’s rival in love.
The two are sitting opposite each other across a round desk, sipping drinks at a café.
“Listen to me, Miku chan !”
“What?”
“I met Kyou sama in the city yesterday, and we even went on a date !”
“Heh. Is it a fantasy?”
“I’m not delusional ! I’m serious !”
“For real? (What’s wit him….doing picking up my friend on his day off? I’ll give him a stern talking-to later.)”
☆
“Hey, Kyou? I heard you hit on a girl yesterday?”
“No, I didn’t hit on her. Ao chan was the one who approached me.”
“You idiot. If a weekly magazine should take a picture of you and report your love affair, our office will go out of business !”
The office that Kyou belongs to is a small office run by Miku.
At the moment, it is almost as if Kyou’s popularity alone is enough to keep the office afloat.
If Kyou gets involved, the office will go bankrupt.
This is one of the reasons why Miku asked Kyou to come back to the office.
“Don’t meet with Ao from now on. It’s not beneficial for either of us] and Kyou refused saying, [No.]
Ao was an attractive girl, although they had only been involved for one day yesterday.
And his friend Miku understands that Ao is attractive.
Also, Ao loves Kyo.
If Kyo ends up in a scandal because he was walking with Ao, Ao might feel responsible and suffer.
As the owner of an office and as Ao’s friend, Miku must be an obstacle between Kyou and Ao.
That’s such a pain…
“Cut ! !”
As soon as the director’s voice rang out, Kagamiya said, pMomo, your acting is good] and Momo thought, [Kagamin is also good at acting.]
I don’t know if there is such a thing as good or bad acting, but Miku is a pretty emotional character for me, and she’s actually my favorite character.
Because she has two faces: one as the owner of the office and the other as Ao’s friend. As Ao’s friend, she want to support her in her love life, but she also thinks she should stop her as a friend.
Also, because she feels indebted to Kyou, she wants to let him do whatever he wants on the holidays, and she doesn’t want him to cross a dangerous bridge after all.
Despite this conflict, Miku ends up falling in love with Kyou.
Kagamiya liked that feeling of unrequited love, and he thinks Momo was able to express such conflicts of Miku with high accuracy.
As evidence of this, throughout the filming, he was holding back from shouting.
Momo, like Kagamiya in the original story, also liked Miku the best.
And Kagamiya, who was in high spirits from acting with Miku, was so lively and skillful.
“(Did I do it properly?)”
–The pressure of playing the character I love the most.–
Momo mumbled to herself, [I’ll do my best] and put her energy back into it.
