“Tie me up?”
Even in my prodigal state of mind, I was able to react properly to the word tying with strings.
“Is there a problem?”
“It smells like a crime. It’s like holding a hostage. I could understand that up to a moment ago. but when it’s about being restrained, it’s a different story.”
I see, Rika suddenly became nervous.
“You don’t trust me?”
“I don’t think so. That’s why I can’t just keep quiet and be tied down. If you don’t know the reason, I can’t be tied down with two answers.”
Rika was a little worried. She put her hand on her forehead and groaned.
“There is no need to resist so much. This is part of the treatment. It’s a way for Masatoshi to get rid of the thoughts of that low-life.”

Rika’s story began.
She said that restraint with a string is not the goal. She said it was just a means to touch the deepest part of my psyche.
“I want to try hypnotherapy on Masatoshi.”

“I had the chance. I found someone who was willing to try it.”
It could be her parents or friends. Not many people would agree to be tied up with a string.
“It’s just an amateur’s way of doing things, and it might be counterproductive. But I want to give it a try. I’ve hugged Masatoshi in the past, comforted him with words, and so on.”
“That’s true.”
“I don’t think that will work this time. The shock is too great. So, out of necessity, I decided to tie Masatoshi up.”
To be honest, tying up a childhood friend is too much. To someone who doesn’t know the situation, it’s a strange sight.

“Tie me up. And hypnotize me. If it doesn’t, we can think about it afterwards. Please.”
What Rika wanted might have been an outlandish act. Still, I was asking for it.
If I could be freed from the days of being trapped by Kisaki Saki, I would do whatever it takes.
It was Rika’s proposal. I trust her. It’s not a bad idea to take it.

I felt my heart calm down. When I think that I made the decision myself, it becomes clear that I can’t be careless.
“We have plenty of time. The party will not be over until after dark.”
First, I was strapped into a chair. With each round or two of the straps, my resolve hardened. A determination to expose everything in my heart.
It was hard to accept the fact that we had gone this far and got nothing out of it.
“I can’t move anymore.”
My legs have completely assimilated into the chair.
Then the wrists.
“I feel like I’ve been lured by a villain.”
“You want me to duct-tape your mouth shut?”
“That’s a tremendous leap.”
My mouth was not covered, but the eyes were. She put an eye mask mask over my eyes. I couldn’t resist.
“I can’t see anything.”
“Of course you can’t. Otherwise, what’s the point?”
Of the five senses, I was only restricted to sight. That alone was enough to make me feel uneasy. I can’t fully grasp what is going on. It is fatal.
“The other four senses have become more sensitive. This is important.”
A voice came from behind me. I looked in the direction Rika was supposed to be. My movements are restricted, so I only turn my head back lightly.
“Why?”
“The more sensitive you are, the more likely you are to show it. It’s just a feeling I have.”
She traced the outside of my ear. I was so caught off guard that I stiffed up.
“Look, you’re freaking out. It works, doesn’t it?”
“I felt it on my skin.”
“That’s good. The arrangements are ready. Then I will begin in earnest.”
At first, I was instructed to relax.
She repeated the process of applying and releasing force. From the lower body to the upper body, I slowly felt the power of my body relaxing. As time goes by, the senses become even more hypersensitive.
Just hearing Rika’s voice, I’m more agitated than usual.
The weakness part alone was quite long. I could not know the actual amount of time had passed as long as I did not know what was going on around me.
“I’d like to start hypnosis next, but I’m not ready yet.”
“Eh?”
“I want to take my time until your body is ready.”
After a while, a finger was placed on my foot, and gently traced along the line of my body.
“It tickles.”
“Patience. Don’t get excited. But be aware of the sensation.”
It was a reckless order. If I paid attention to it, I would give myself over to the faint, continuous sensations of comfort that welled up from deep inside me.
It was only a finger. She was only focusing on the lower half of my body. That alone was more than enough to get me excited.
“I’m supposed to calm down, but my heart is beating fast.”
“It’s alright. Surrender to the excitement now. I will hypnotize you again when I give you more instructions.”
Once again, a long time passed. And the excitement continued to build up with no sign of release. I was getting impatient, wondering if I would ever be released.
As soon as I realized that I was about to lose my patience, Rika finally opened her mouth.
“I’m done tracing your body. The next step is hypnosis. Look forward to it.”
“Yeah.”
My body wanted to be hypnotized. I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
I was now nothing more than a drooling animal with a carrot dangling in front of me.
