The meal was a messy affair, but thanks to Sister Norn’s help, it went off without a hitch.
After having stuffed our stomach with a quantity of food that was too painful for a human body, Sister Norn got up from her seat and I followed her out of the restaurant.
“You handled it well, Sister Norn.”
I called out to her as we walked through the night.

“I didn’t want to disturb my dinner with Luca any more than he already had.”
