“Mouu! Let’s get this shot quick!”

Shiina, who had been disobedient, puckered her cheeks and looked at the camera.

“Yes, yes…”

I, too, turned toward the camera with a dumbfounded look on my face.
The poses are the worst in Purikura in couple mode.
They make you make a heart with your hands, hug, and eventually kiss.

Of course, Shiina would be happy to do it all, but it’s just too much for me.

“Tch~, I didn’t get any kisses in this Purikura!”

Shiina said in the processing booth after taking about seven pictures.

“What’s the point of having a kiss in a purikura?”

What’s the point of going to the trouble of taking pictures of ourselves kissing?
I said that, but I have a kiss with Chisato saved in my photo holder, but I don’t want to mention that.

“I can’t wait to go on the Ferris wheel.”
“It’s about the right time, too.”

It was around 6:30 p.m., and it was getting dark.
We took the Purikura print-outs and headed for the Ferris wheel as soon as we got out of the arcade.
As we were climbing the stairs, we could see the lights leaking from the buildings and the Ferris wheel lit up. It was truly a night view spot.

“There’s no line—“

No one was waiting in line at the entrance of the Ferris wheel, and only a few couples were getting off.
It was probably still early in the day.

Certainly, if they were on a date or something, they would still be playing.
I think the crowds peak around 7 to 8 o’clock. I’m sure they would ride it as a memory of the day.

“Let’s go, Saku kun!”

Shiina leads the way, and I follow her inside.
The attendant closed the door and we were alone in the enclosed space.

“The Ferris wheel is so exciting, isn’t it?”
“That’s something you say when you get to the top, isn’t it?”
“No, no, no. Once you get on the Ferris wheel, the tension is already at its maximum.”

Shiina shook her body as she looked outside.
This scene was familiar to me.
The first time I rode the Ferris wheel with Chisato.
She looked at the scenery with excitement, just like Shiina.

I can’t help but compare everything with the past.
I want to forget about it, but I can’t. I think about it too much.
I want to keep them as good memories, but I feel empty.
I know Chisato wouldn’t want this, but I can’t help thinking about it.
I glanced at her as she looked down at me,

“Well, Saku kun, let’s talk.”

She sits up again, puts her hands on her knees, and looks me in the eye.
