As the two of us continued our sightseeing tour of Osaka, we noticed that it was beginning to get dark around us. It was almost time to go home, and our fun-filled trip was coming to an end.
We were looking at the night view from the observation deck of Harukas 60, our last destination and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Osaka.
“It’s great to see the night view from a high place, isn’t it?”
“Yesterday’s night view from the Ferris wheel was great, but the night view from here is something else.”
Incidentally, Harukas 60 is the second tallest skyscraper in Japan, and if you are lucky, you can see as far as Kyoto and Kobe.
“Hey, Takuma. Don’t you have something to say to me?”
As I was taking pictures of the night view with my phone, Alice started saying something like that with a smirk on her face. It seems that she really wants me to say that line to her.
“Alice is much more beautiful than the …… nightscape, and I wouldn’t want it to be anyone else’s.”
“Hee, if you’re going to go that far, why don’t you show me the proof?”
As soon as she finished saying that, Alice pointed to her lips for a moment, looked at me as if she was expecting something, and then closed her eyes.
It seems that she is not satisfied with just making me say the embarrassing words, she is even demanding a kiss. I was not sure what to do, but I was afraid of what would happen if I left it like this, so I decided to comply.
However, I was too shy to say anything, so I kissed her on the cheek. Then Alice opened her eyelids and looked as if she wanted more.
“Aaah, what a waste of a great opportunity,”
“It’s okay right, that was fine.”
In the first place, I don’t have the courage to boldly take Alice’s lips in a situation where other people are around.
“Then, for future reference, I’m going to show Takuma an example of the correct way to respond.”
“…… Eh?”
Alice forcefully hugged me, confused as to what she meant by what she said, and forcibly kissed me. People around me look at me normally, but she doesn’t care about that and stick her tongue inside my mouth.
I let myself be completely taken in, but I guess she was satisfied and finally let me go. It’s no secret that I felt a little reluctant to leave anything behind.
“This is the correct answer for the scene you just saw, so please remember it well.”
“…… didn’t help me at all, but I’ll keep it in mind.”
Alice was in a good mood and we enjoyed Harukas 60 for a while.

More than two hours have already passed since I left Harukas 60 and boarded the Shinkansen for my return trip at Shin-Osaka Station. This trip was a good change of pace for me because I genuinely enjoyed myself despite the many things that happened on this trip.
Compared to last year’s summer vacation, when I basically stayed in my room and played video games, this year I feel like I’m having a normal high school summer vacation.
“I feel like I’m going to fall asleep as soon as I lay down on my bed.”
“We walked all over the place in the morning today, didn’t we?”
Alice and I visited many famous places such as Tsurukyukaku, Osaka Castle, Osaka Tenmangu Shrine, Harukas 60, and so on. Sightseeing was fun, but at the same time I was extremely tired.
“We’ve already had dinner, so let’s go home, take a bath, and go to bed.”
“Yes, that would be good.”
I’m going to sleep until about mid-afternoon tomorrow, just to take the edge off. The summer vacation has only just begun, so it’s not a bad idea to spend a little bit of time lounging around.
“Ah, that’s right. The day after tomorrow, do you want to go to the fireworks display in Itabashi?”
“I don’t have any plans the day after tomorrow, so I’ll be fine.”
“In Takuma’s case, it’s not the day after tomorrow, it’s the day after tomorrow too, right?”
Alice said that to me with a smirk. Don’t torment me too much about my loneliness, I’m going to cry stiff.
“”Then it’s decided, I’m in your care.”
“Okay.”
A new plan, a fireworks festival, was added to my otherwise empty schedule. Even though summer vacation has just begun, plans are coming in one after another, so it’s a huge difference from last year.
I feel like I’m a real person, but if I think about it, I’m sure that to those around me, I only look like a real person with a beautiful girl named Alice attending.
“..Does it look even more so if I wear a ring on the ring finger of my left hand?”
“Takuma, did you just say something?”
I thought I was whispering something very quietly, but Alice, who was sitting next to me, could hear me a little.
“I was just talking to myself, don’t worry about it”.
“Eh, if you say something like that, it bothers me a lot.”
“Seriously, it’s nothing…rather than that, we’ll be arriving at Tokyo Station soon.”
I diverted the conversation to Alice, who started to bite me. I don’t want to pursue the content of my monologue earlier.
“Ah, we already arrive back.”
“So maybe it’s time to get ready to get off the Shinkansen.”
“Yeah, I’ve got a lot of luggage, so better not forget anything on the bullet train.”
And so ended our trip to Osaka, where we spent two days and one night.
