Episode 57 – Date with Sara

Today Sara and I had a collaborative café date, so I was at the meeting place early.

“Akuru-kun”

Sara waved her hand and came running.

After we entered the café and sat down, Sara was very excited.

Me and Sara continued to look at the menu list and order with excitement.

We ended up ordering some burnt bread (chocolate bread), vegetables, drinks and ice cream.

Afterwards, we finished eating and I left the table because I had to go to the toilet.

When I came back to Sara’s place from the toilet, she was being picked up by two guys.

“So you picked up my girl and said she’s too good for me?”

“Yeah of course! Sara is my girlfriend and I’m supposed to protect her no matter what.”

When I said that, Sara replied happily.

“But then again, weren’t you scared of them?”

“Yes, I knew that Akuruu-kun would come and …… and I’ve become stronger since I met Akuru-kun.”

It’s true, the first time I met her and now she’s very different, she’s very positive, she seems to have …… more confidence in herself.

After apologising to the shop for the trouble we caused the guys earlier, me and Sara went outside.

I held Sara’s hand and started to walk away.

“Oh, good! But I’m pretty sure I can do this.”

“You know, I’m pretty sure I can do it, too!”

“Let’s do it then!’

As soon as we got to the arcade, we decided to play Marimo Kart.

“Oh, Sara, you’ve done it!”

“Hehe, Akuru-kun, you’re not so defensive!”

“Get some red shells!”

“I have stocking up on banana peels, you know?”

“Oh, you’re so strong, Sara, you’ve beaten me.

“I told you, I’m confident.”

Sara said confidently.

To be honest, I thought I could win, so I was frustrated, but that feeling flew away immediately because Sara looked so happy.

“Akuru-kun! Let’s do that next!”

“Oh, good!”

Then we played some games.

When Sara and I were walking, she was looking at a stuffed whale from the crane game.

“Sara, do you want this?”

“Eh, um, yeah! I thought it was cute.”

“I see, then I’ll get it and give it to you as a present.”

“Eh? Are you sure?”

“Sure.”

I was good at the crane game, so I got it in two tries.

“Great! Akuru-kun! That’s great!”

Sara said with a twinkle in her eye.

“Here, I’ll give you this.”

“Thank you, Akuru-kun! I’ll take good care of it.”

Sara hugged the stuffed animal tightly to her chest with both hands and said so.

“Hey, Sara, it’s getting late, let’s go out.”

“Yeah, time went by so fast.”

Then we went outside.

“Sara, what about dinner? Do you want to get something to eat?”

“Yeah, I told my mum that, so let’s get something to eat.”

“What do you want to eat?”

“Well, there’s a family restaurant that I often go to with Haruka chan and Ai chan, let’s go there.”

“Okay! Let’s go there.”
