Limona was making a big mistake when she confidently said that.
One is that her words cannot be believed. How could she say that before her tongue had even dried up after she had just tried to kill me the first time using the Holy Spirit Contract?
I’m sure that even if I defeat the Demon King, she will be reluctant to give her back to me for some reason or another, and will try to use me even harder.
I thought about it and came up with an odd idea.
“Will you treat me with respect– no, would you at least let me take a look at Rhys? I want to see her in good health. Then we can talk.”

That’s true. Or rather, it was a clever idea that she came up with, but Limona wasn’t stupid enough to make it work. But I can’t follow the princess to save Rhys, who can’t be seen.

I’d rather have Rhys back than destroy this country.

“But then you’ll never come to this kingdom again, will you?”
“……Well, I’ll at least come back to sell you sweets.”
“—So you’re saying that you don’t intend to participate in the defeat of the Demon King?”
I won’t reveal anything about it from the beginning. I don’t have any grudges against the Demon King, and I’m starting to wonder if he’s really a bad guy because of how suspicious she’s been since we met, and how she just lied so casually.
However, even if I nodded my head in agreement, I still wouldn’t be able to find out where Rhys is.

“Then I swear I won’t let those other guys go back to Japan. You can even write that in the Holy Spirit contract. In exchange, let me see Rhys.”
When I said this, Limona looked away as if she was troubled.
Perhaps Rhys is not all right. Depending on the extent of her injuries and the treatment she received, I may be on the verge of destroying this country.
To that extent, I care about Rhys, and above all, the value of the Kingdom of Barbados to me is light.
“Y-your words and attitude towards me haven’t changed since a while ago ! I am Limona Ella Rossa Barbados, the first princess of the Kingdom of Barbados. Don’t think you can negotiate with me after you talk to me so cheekily !”
Limona is upset. Limona is a liar and shady, but she is not stupid.

Perhaps Rhys was treated quite badly.

Even if I become the king of a country with such bad security and many other problems, I will have to live a much poorer life than a Japanese citizen.
The food is bad, the clothes are shabby, and the beds are rough even at the highest level. The toilets are not flushable. It’s impossible. I don’t think I can live in this world.
“I-in the first place, do you seriously think that just because you have a 7-star skill, you can take a country alone? And if you attack this country, I will kill that half-elf without hesitation ! I’m going to put you through a lot of horrible things and then publicly execute you !”
Limona’s eyes widened and she started breathing hard and saying crazy things.
I don’t know why she hates Rhys and half-elves so much, and I don’t know the purpose or reason why she summoned us to this country.
But still–I would rather die than obey this princess.

As soon as I say it, I transferred home. Now I also have Nozomi. I’m sure she can heal Rhys’s injuries, and no matter how badly Limona does to her, she won’t die.
