<Masuda Ayaka’s point of view>
“Let’s begin then. Kiuya’s pilgrimage to the sacred place.”
“Yes!”
Today was the long-awaited pilgrimage with Shoma to the holy place.
I made a mental note to enjoy myself to the fullest.
“First of all, Ayaka, where would you like to go? I think we can go to two or three places in the time we have.”
“I’ve done my research. We can paddle a canoe in the Blue Cave.”
“The Blue Cave, huh? Is that where the last scene in ‘The Promised Land’ took place?”
“Yeah. I really wanted to go there. Hurry up.”
I pulled Shoma’s hand and took him to the place.
“So, which one do you want to take? There are many.”
“That boat. I’m not sure if a swan boat would give off the right atmosphere. Of course, you have to row the boat.”
“Ah, yes. I’ll take care of it.”
We got into the boat and rowed smoothly, enjoying conversation, until we arrived at an open area surrounded by water and trees.
“It’s beautiful, isn’t it?~”
I was so impressed by the scenery around me that I took a picture with my phone.
At that moment, a strong wind blew up my skirt.
“Wa”
I shouted and held up my skirt.
“Ayaka, what’s wro………”
When Shoma looked at me with concern, his face turned red and he turned his head away from me.
I opened my mouth as if nothing had happened, thinking it was cute.
In any case, today is a pilgrimage to the holy place of Kiuyu
I’m not going to let that stop me from enjoying myself.
“What a wind”
“Eh!? Ah! yes, it is.”
“Shoma, what’s wrong?”
“Hee? Ah, no, I’m fine! I’m fine.”
“Ah, I want to row too, so you’ll have to change.”
“Eh”
I also want to row, so I walk towards Shouma, who is sitting in the place where he rows.
“H-Hey, it’s dangerous if you move suddenly…”
“Uwa.”
Before Shoma can say a word of warning, the boat is once again driven by the wind and I lose my balance.
I fall towards Shoma.
Shoma, also unable to move in the narrow, unbalanced space of the boat, falls backwards, catching me as he does so.
I quickly reached forward and put my hands on the boat, and became covered by Shoma.
In front of me was Shoma’s face.
I put my lips on Shoma’s lips.
“Hnn!?”
He immediately noticed and we pulled away from each other.
“I-I’m sorry.”
“A-Are you okay? Are you hurt?”
“Yeah.”
“I see.”
“Can I row next time?”
“Uh, yeah.”
We switched seats while talking awkwardly.
I was a little wobbly when I started rowing the boat, but I guess I was getting used to it now and it was going smoothly.
“I’m sorry about earlier. I don’t know how Shoma feels about it, but I didn’t mind.”
I was supposed to have fun today, but I kissed him.
But I didn’t regret it.
Shoma might think it was an accident.
But
–I won’t let it be an accident.–
“I really don’t mind about what happened”
“Yes.”
I declared to Shoma.
