He resuscitates the four Kings in each of the towers as an experiment. But the reanimation was incomplete, and Celes and his team fought the Four Kings again, but this time with more strength. Behe, who has mastered the forbidden art, sacrifices himself to resurrect the Demon King in his perfect form, and Celes and her friends fight the Demon King again.

The reanimated Demon King played the role of the back boss in the previous life.

That is not the only event. The past of Celes and the other is also explored a little deeper by stopping by their hometowns near each of the towers. Many players preferred this to a rematch with the Four Kings or the Demon King.

Somehow, the effects of the miasma that had supposedly taken over had disappeared, but Sol was still alive. Defeating the back boss would probably not be a big problem, given the level of difficulty that could be inferred at this point. If that were the case, then surely defeating the back boss would bring about the happy ending that the voice had mentioned.
