【Let’s Talk About Yozuki Mei-chan’s Stream Part 25】
- Anonymous Viewer
Let’s talk about Mei-chan’s stream today.
Avoid mentioning other streamers’ names as much as possible!
Link is here.

Thread starter, thanks!!
Today was her first Marshmallow stream in a while, huh?
Three months?
- Anonymous Viewer
2 Yeah, about that long. Today’s stream was all about the Master again lol

I’ve started watching Yozuki Mei-chan’s streams recently, but who exactly is this revered “Master” everyone keeps mentioning?
- Anonymous Viewer
4 Didn’t you watch the last few streams?
- Anonymous Viewer
4 She talked about the Master so much I thought it would go on forever!
- Anonymous Viewer
5.6 Sorry, my boss called me away for an urgent work thing.
- Anonymous Viewer
7 Can’t be helped. Real life comes first.
- Anonymous Viewer
Well, what can you do.
I’ll tell you about the Master. Master Rai-san was Yozuki Mei-chan’s very first channel subscriber.
For Mei-chan, who was just starting out on her own, the Master’s existence was a huge emotional support.
- Anonymous Viewer
9 Sorry for my ignorance. Is being the very first subscriber really that big of a deal?
Well, I guess it is impressive, but it doesn’t really register for me.

What makes it impressive in this case is that in this era called the VTuber Warring States period, quite a few people debut as independent VTubers.
Many of them end their streams without gaining any viewers at all.
Even with corporate-backed VTubers, back in the very early days—the so-called “Zero Generation”—the initial viewers were often called the “Round Table.” But those viewers? They were often company employees watching.
That’s why everyone’s scrambling to audition for corporate teams right now.
I’ll cut it here for now.

So, continuing… For independent creators to grow their audience and subscribers, the usual approach is to build popularity on Twitter first, or stream/post videos on platforms other than YouTube targeting that audience to encourage YouTube channel subscriptions, do collaboration streams, or use certain apps that let anyone become a VTuber. Basically, doing groundwork beforehand is standard. But Mei-chan did none of that; she just started streaming on YouTube out of nowhere.
Realistically, it’s crazy for master to randomly discover a raw gem among the countless VTubers out there, even by chance.
Plus, it’s not just casual chatting—he apparently encouraged Mei-chan and got other viewers involved to hype up the stream. There’s no way Mei-chan wouldn’t fall for that…

11.12 Thanks for the explanation!!
Thinking about it that way, Rai-san is seriously messed up.
And yet, Rai-san is worried about backlash and claims he didn’t do anything, right?
is he a god?
- Anonymous Viewer
13 Exactly. That’s why they’re our master.
In fact, there’s even a separate thread monitoring master’s Twitter account.
- Anonymous Viewer
14 Huh??
- Anonymous Viewer
14 Eh??
- Anonymous Viewer
15.16 Seriously.
Follow him all at once and see if you can make the Master uncomfortable.
If the Master deletes his account, that’d really drive Mei-chan crazy.
By the way, Mei-chan monitors the Master’s Twitter during streams and posts his tweets.

17 What the hell?????
- Anonymous Viewer
Hasn’t she gone beyond being mentally unstable and turned into a stalker?
- Anonymous Viewer
Well, they haven’t met in real life or been found yet.
When they do get found in real life, it’s gonna be insane.
Personally, I think they should just get married already, so that’s fine by me.
- Anonymous Viewer
20. That’s totally possible.
Honestly, Mei-chan might be the one to track him down.
