Geogess is so fun.
I played the game Mei-chan streamed yesterday too.
Turns out it’s a paid game.
You can play for free with tickets though.
Mei-chan must’ve paid to play so many rounds.
Her dedication to entertaining people is amazing.
I figured out Japan while reviewing what Mei-chan said, but the world map is seriously tough.
I can’t tell deserts apart, and mountains all look the same.
I can’t read other languages either.
I looked up tips on YouTube, but seeing people pinpoint locations instantly was scary.
Who the hell is that person?
Anyway, Mei-chan isn’t streaming today, and I finished my work, so I’m super bored.
I thought about contacting Hayato, but then I remembered I blocked him.
“I’m thinking of going to XX Middle School today. Wanna come?”
I think that was the last thing he wrote.
Please let it be my imagination.
Please.
“Gonna go for a walk.”
Seeing the places from yesterday’s stream made me feel nostalgic. Maybe I’ll go check that area out again after so long.
I’m looking forward to it.
I change into my usual hoodie and jeans and head out.
The place, a few dozen minutes’ walk from home, is the downtown area where the streetcars run.
Even after just a little while away, I could see changes—new buildings under construction, old shops replaced.
Once you become a working adult doing remote work, you naturally stop noticing your surroundings, I think. But walking like this when I have free time really makes me realize how important it is.
I really need to pay more attention to my surroundings.
Should I head to the waterfront forest?
A short walk from where the Gesser dropped me off leads to a slightly larger park.
It’s a place where the sea breeze feels great.
It’s a weekday, so there aren’t many people around—just a few small children and their guardians running about.
Some tall, handsome guy is pointing a camera around. Should I report him?
For the kids’ sake.
What the hell are you doing here?!
Oh, and there’s the author pointing their phone too… Might as well report them while I’m at it.
In the distance, a ship’s horn blares—pretty powerful.
Gotta snap a pic and post it on Twitter.
‘So cool’
Posted the ship photo.
Being outside for the first time in a while feels great.
I can relax and unwind, and it’s a nice change of pace.
Honestly, getting out every once in a while is good for you.
After lying in the park for about 30 minutes, staring at the sky, I decided it was time to head back and got up.
I heard a police siren in the distance.
Oh, the guy took off.
And the pervert ran away too!
Just as I was about to head home, a voice called out from behind me.
“Excuse me, you dropped your phone.”
I turned around to find a beautiful girl standing there.
Her black-based dress featured only the cuffs made of slightly sheer chiffon, creating a soft flutter every time the light passed through.
Even though she wore dark colors, it didn’t feel heavy—perhaps because of the purity she herself possessed.
Her black hair, falling just past her shoulders, swayed lightly in the cool breeze.
The eyes peeking through her bangs held a calm light, like the surface of a lake.
A slim black shoulder bag, not overly expensive, hung diagonally across her body.
The white sandals at her feet hinted at the changing seasons…
She smiled softly and held out my phone.
“Ah, sorry.”
Her voice sounded familiar… Hmm.
“No, no, I’m glad I found it.”
“That was a big help. Well then.”
“Yeah. See you…”
?
I gave a quick bow and parted ways with the girl.
She was beautiful.
I don’t think I’ve seen her around here before… Maybe she’s traveling?
It must have been my imagination that I heard her say ‘Found you’ carried on the wind.
