In the evening, things started to get noisy at the Kuga house.
“Dad, you’re working overtime today! Just when Asahina-san is here!”
“Dad, if you knew that Toka-chan was here, you’d be shocked…”
Yuzuha and Mom were flustered. Both of them seemed to have finally realized that Asahina Toka was going to stay at our house. I had told Toka not to worry about being considerate while she was here, but the ones welcoming her were being overly considerate.

It was the first time I had seen Toka trying to get closer to someone on her own.

The way she addresses people is amazing. It feels like the distance between Toka and everyone else is closing at an incredible speed. The awkwardness from this morning is gradually fading, and Toka is becoming more proactive in her communication.

I didn’t want to know that information… well, not exactly, but I didn’t want to hear it right now. What’s with this unusually aggressive Toka? The usual Toka was more reserved, or rather, shy, wasn’t she?

“Maybe it’s because tonight is the first night we’ve spent together since we started dating? Let me spoil you tonight.”
