“Yuito really asked me to take a picture with him, so I took a special photo with him.”
Before I could answer the real reason, Kano san told a simple lie. Then Suzuno and my brother each raise their voices.
“Eh, Yuito kun, that’s so bold.”
“……Hey Yuito, is that true?”
“I just took it because Kano san asked me to take it when she took me shopping.”
I couldn’t stand the look from my brother who seemed like he could kill someone with just a look, so I blurted out these words. Then, Kano san looks bored.
“Geez, why is Yuito so quick to give away the story?”
“No, no, no, no matter how you think about it, it’s more problematic to mislead Suzuno and my brother.”
“That’s right, aside from me, if Suzuno gets the wrong idea, it’ll be a problem, right?”
That’s what my brother said with a visibly relieved look on his face. Needless to say, my brother was the most upset.

Kano san’s comment made me, Suzuno, and my brother stiffen. I was surprised because I never expected Kano san to say something like that.

“N-N-neither of us have done it. Suzuno and I aren’t dating in the first place.”
I was a little relieved when I saw Suzuno raising her voice with a red face and my brother denying it while getting confused. I see, Suzuno and my brother aren’t dating yet.
“Hmm, I thought you had already kissed.”
“I don’t have any intention of doing either for a while yet…”
Suzuno watched with a slightly dissatisfied expression as my brother explained this to Kano san with a frantic look on his face. Looking at Suzuno like that, I feel a severe pain in my chest.
Does Suzuno want to kiss or do something more with my brother instead of with me? I felt sick when I imagined the specific scene, and I drank the remaining Stellar Buck latte in one gulp to suppress the nausea that was rising in me.
The four of us talked for a while, but I don’t really remember what we talked about. And my brother was as absentminded as ever, not really participating in the conversation.
“It’s getting late, so let’s call it a night.”
“Oh, it’s already this late. I knew the time would fly by with Ayato kun and Yuito kun around.”
Apparently, Kano san and Suzuno were satisfied. It’s a real contrast to me and my brother, who have suffered mental damage and become depressed.
“I’m going home with Suzuno chan.”
“I’ll see you tomorrow at school.”
After saying that, Suzuno and Kano san got up from their seats, threw away the trash, and left the store together. My brother and I, who were left behind, sat there as if we were at a wake.
“……Hey Aniki, do you want to go home too?”
“I guess so, let’s get the hell out of here.”
We slowly got up and left the store. We walked out of the mall and down the dark night street together, but we didn’t talk much. We were both completely in our own little world.
So when the weather forecast went wrong and it started raining hard, we kept walking without even taking shelter from the rain. We returned home soaking wet and took turns taking showers.
Then I went back to my room and worked hard on tomorrow’s prep work and assignments. I felt restless unless I was doing something.
“Let’s sleep……”
I had a terrible headache and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth, but when I looked in the mirror, I saw that I really looked terrible.
My brother came to the bathroom at the same time and had a face that looked exactly like me. The Yuuki sisters are really good at disturbing the hearts of us brothers.
