We were looking around at furniture and appliances in the shopping mall, but before I knew it, I realized that we had been there for quite a long time.

Alice had already decided what she wanted to order and pressed the bell on the desk to call the waiter. Then, she starts to tell the waiter who comes to the table what she wants to order.
“Excuse me, two hot coffees …… and one couples-only extra-large parfait.”
I looked extremely surprised when I heard that it was for couples only, and Alice looked like a child who had just pulled off a prank.
“Hey, what does ‘couples only’ mean?!”
“When I asked you earlier if I could order whatever I wanted, Takuma said it was up to me to order, right? That’s why I just took your word for it and asked for what I like.”
Hearing those words, I finally understood why Alice looked so happy after that question earlier. To put it bluntly, I feel completely set up.
After a while, a couples-only extra-large parfait was brought to the desk, and as the name suggests, it was quite a huge size. It was so large that it seemed doubtful that we could finish it alone.
If you are a couple dating someone who eats little, you probably won’t be able to finish it. I was thinking about it as an escape from reality when I was struck by a further tragedy.
“Well then, I’m going to start taking photos of the two of you, okay?”
“Yes, I’m looking forward to it.”

When I heard the clerk’s words, I couldn’t understand the situation at all, so I couldn’t help but exclaim. When I looked at Alice and asked her what she meant, she smiled and pointed to the extra-large parfait for couples only on the menu.

I look at the contents of the page, but am completely speechless when I realise what it says. It seems that if you order the couples-only menu, they will take a photo of you and display it in the restaurant for a while.
If I had known this was going to happen, I would never have said anything about being free to order whatever she wanted. But now it’s too late, and everything is just an afterthought.
So I had to have my two-shot photo taken with a flirtatious Alice. After the photo shoot was over, I asked Alice, who had a satisfied expression on her face.
“…I don’t think so, but I think the reason you came to the mall today was to shop as an extra, and this was actually your main purpose, right?”
“Arara, I guess you found out after all.”

Alice could really do it. As expected, I didn’t have the courage to accept the humiliating play of mouth-to-mouth in public.
In the end, I couldn’t refuse both, so I chose to have Alice eat the parfait. Needless to say, I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t even taste it.
