“Good morning, …… Alice.”
“Good morning, Takuma. You look like a dead fish in the morning, what’s wrong?”
Alice, who was cooking breakfast in the kitchen, asked me that. I thought that she definitely knew what I was asking, but I answered.
“Of course it’s because I’m going to start my troublesome second semester remedial classes today.”

The summer vacation that I had enjoyed came to an end yesterday, and I have to go back to school from today. I’m really depressed about going to school today because of the pair ring on my ring finger and the proposal at the fireworks show.

“I have a great idea that could solve everything, want to hear it?”

“For now, I think we will decide on the class leaders for the school festival and discuss the subject matter for the play.”

In the final exam before the summer vacation, she came in first place in class, and I feel like she could get in anywhere as long as she doesn’t make a fatal mistake during the actual entrance exam. I’m really jealous.
