Episode 3 – Ball game tournament practice

“All right ! We’ll have a practice game for the ball game in a week !”

It was P.E time. Free time was set aside on the school grounds for the ball game tournament.

Yamaguchi, who has the highest caste in the class, is in charge.

The teams are divided in advance. There are two main teams: the ‘cheerful team’ led by Yamaguchi and the ‘shady team’ including Hanamichi and the others.

“Let’s get right to it ! Well, we won’t lose to the team with the guy who got cucked by his girlfriend !”

Hanamichi called out to Wakita, who was standing at the drop spot of the ball.

Wakita moved awkwardly to the landing spot of the ball and tossed it to Hanamichi.

“Sepak takraw !”

Hanamichi dances high in the air and overhead kicks the volleyball to match the high toss from Wakita.

Wakita, Fujii, and Yasui burst at Hanamichi’s strange behavior.

“Wha !?”

Hanamichi kicks the volleyball, and it approaches Yamaguchi with a hard ball.

Hanamichi’s fastball mercilessly hits Yamaguchi in the face. Unfortunately, Yamaguchi could not react at all. Yamaguchi was blown away and laid down on the ground.

Yamaguchi moans as he holds his face in his hands to ease the pain.

Four friends who are usually close to Yamaguchi rush over. Yamaguchi can’t get up right away.

“I’m amazing, aren’t I?”

Hanamichi asked Wakita, Fujii, and Yasui for sympathy. His tone included a bit of boasting.

Wakita praised Hanamichi while trying his best to suppress his laughter with both hands. Fujii and Yasui did the same, all three of them glancing at Yamaguchi and giggling.

The girl happily looks at Hanamichi favorably.

This girl was surprisingly the most beautiful girl in the class, Mikami Tsumugi.

With her long black hair, brown eyes, and pure white skin, she is by far the most conspicuous person in the class. Such a girl was very interested in Hanamichi.

On the other hand, Hanamichi was completely oblivious to Tsumugi’s gaze, and after the match resumed, he delivered a powerful serve to the opponent’s court.

His target was Yamaguchi. Again, he was blowing Yamaguchi away with a volleyball.
