It’s the day of the festival.
I’m looking at the day’s pamphlet, watching Chifuyu in her apron, who has been cooking for me since this morning.

The three of us went up the school building to the third floor.
In front of the classroom, there were numerous signs for coffee shops, haunted houses, hot dogs, and so on.

The three of us visited a classroom that had been turned into a haunted house.
It’s a simple thing made of black garbage bags and cardboard, but I don’t know who drew the picture on the sign, but it looks very authentic and scary.

“Isn’t it amazing? I imagined the old Chifuyu.”

Come to think of it, she somehow resembles the Chifuyu of the time when we first met.
The woman is dark and shadowy.
But when I think back and look at Chifuyu now, she is a completely different person.

“I guess so. The old Chifuyu was mysterious and beautiful, but now she’s cute and I still like her. Both are Chifuyu.”

“Don’t worry, It’s be safe if we hold hands.”
“Yes. Can I ask you to go in front?”
“Of course.”
I was scared, but I didn’t want to make Chifuyu even more scared than I was, so I went in front of her.
Then there’s a “clunk” sound and my body reacts with a jolt.

“…… Toma-kun, I’m scared.”
“Well, let’s get the hell out of here. Let’s go”
“Yes.”
I took Chifuyu’s hand and ran as if I was running as fast as I could.
However, it was just a dark hallway with nothing coming out.
My eyes gradually got used to it, and just when I thought I could finally see the exit light,
“Baaah!”
“Whoa!”
A man wearing a mask of a one-eyed boy suddenly came out of the exit.
In a classic reassuring and then startling move, I couldn’t help but let out an involuntary yelp.
“Kyaaaah!”
Chifuyu exclaimed loudly.
She clung to me and jumped on me and I held her in my arms, and she was trembling, saying, “No, I’m scared, I’m scared.”
So we went outside.
Then, Madoka-san, who had gone out first, saw me holding Chifuyu and burst out laughing.
“Hahaha, Chifuyu can make such a loud voice. That’s good, that’s good, is it refreshing?”
“…… Madoka, you tease me. I was scared.”
“But it gave you an excuse to make out with junior. Will you just hold him and go to the next place?”
“…Yeah. Toma-kun, is it okay if I hold you?”
“Y-yeah”
“Good. I want to stay like this for the rest of the day.”
To go around the festival with a princess in your arms is nothing short of embarrassing.
As soon as I go out into the hallway, I’m the center of attention.
“……we are being watched, Chifuyu.”
“Yeah. I’ll let everyone see it. Toma-kun is mine.”
“Don’t be so jealous, I’m not going anywhere.”

If Chifuyu wants, it doesn’t matter if we kiss in front of everyone.

With a laugh, we went to the next place.
The next place is the classroom next door where they have a coffee shop to use the drink tickets that Chifuyu got.
Of course, I entered the store with Chifuyu in my arms, so the student who was working as a waiter asked me, “Ah, does your leg hurt?”
To this question, Chifuyu replied, “Toma-kun is carrying me,” as if it were a matter of course.
She made the other person pause.
Seeing this, Madoka san and I both laughed, as did Chifuyu.
