When Rietta closed her eyes, a green magic circle was formed with smooth magic manipulation. And then the wind attribute magic power was poured into it and the magic was activated.
The “Sword of Wheat” team, as well as some of the other adventurers who had gathered, watched Rietta with bated breath.
I explained the situation to everyone gathered and told them to leave, but some of them stayed behind, knowing that we were all in this together. Among them were Ricardo and the others who had been gathered to support me.
Besides, the battle with the demons was not yet completely over. There were still many people left on this battlefield besides us, and we could not afford to fail.
Rietta, who had been concentrating on her magic, finally opened her eyes and said to me
“TAle-kun, you did well! Next, please!”

At Rietta’s words, I also constructed a magic circle with the magic I had prepared. The wind magic that I activated manipulated the surrounding atmosphere and directed it towards the compressed magic of Andras.

The reason for this is the nature of magic and Ur’s subtle force.
First, the atmosphere, fixed in position relative to the compressed magic, cannot be moved freely by magic. However, this is not the case with respect to the force externally given. When Ur pushes the atmosphere fixed by magic, the atmosphere moved by that amount, however, tries to maintain the distance from the compressed magic force, and thus the compressed magic force itself moves.
Since magic power can only be interfered with by magic power, the transportation of compressed magic power requires magical intervention, but since Rietta is also using magic to maintain the core of the ball of atmosphere and reduce the air resistance outside, she decided to carry it with Ur’s delicate force in consideration of the burden.
Once accelerated gradually to a sufficient speed, the compressed magic continues to fly without further force because there is almost no air resistance to the outside. The speed was quite high, and they had already reached the entrance to the forest at the foot of the mountain.
Anri, the leader of the group, cut down a tree in our path to make a path, and we plunged into the forest.
I watched Ur occasionally correct the direction we were going and spoke to Rietta, who was in my arms.

We looked at each other and concentrated on maintaining the magic.

The end was in sight. The compressed magic power, which continues to advance along a constant incline, will continue to climb the mountain alone even if it leaves our hands at this point.

–A tsunami of silver lightning-tinged rocks climbed up the mountain, clearing away the vegetation in the direction of travel. The preparations were now complete.
The four of us exchanged glances with each other and quickly turned to head back the way we had come.
But that’s when it happened.
“——Gyaaaaoooooooooo!!!”
A loud sound that shook my eardrums.
A shadow fell over the moonlit area.
We look up and see a huge dragon covering the night sky.
Covered in a rugged, rocky shell, it was an earth dragon, one of the same kind of demons —- that I had managed to defeat.
It was about one size smaller than the one I beat. It was probably still in the process of becoming an adult. But even so, there is no doubt that it is still very powerful, and I and Anri are probably the only ones who can fight it at this point.
Should we leave the compressed magic alone and go back the way we came while attracting the dragon? No, but for some reason, this earth dragon is paying attention to the compressed magic power. Is it coming closer to Andras’ huge magical power?
After thinking that far, I quickly made a decision.
I put down Rietta in my arms and told everyone.
“Rietta and Ur should go down the mountain! Anri and I will take care of this one!”
This is really the last time. If we make it through this point, everything will be over without incident.
At the edge of my field of vision, looking at the earth dragon, I see Ur and Rietta, who hesitate a little, but quickly assess the situation and leave the scene.
The compressed magical force, which is out of Ur’s control, is climbing up the mountain alone.
The earth dragon’s gaze traced the path of the compressed magic and was about to follow it, when I said to Anri, who had come up to me.

“Tale. I’m counting on you to maintain the magic.”

–At that moment, my body left the ground.
For a moment, I didn’t know what had happened.
I thought Anri had touched my body, and somehow I was lifted up and thrown. I flew through the air at a tremendous speed toward the foot of the mountain, in a different direction from where Ur and Rietta had landed.
I looked at Anri and saw a transparent smile on her face.
I couldn’t do anything about it, so I kept the magic covering the compressed magic at least intact as I fell toward the bottom of the mountain.
Ahead of my gaze, a platinum girl dances as if she is running to the earth dragon…
