After making the ultimate choice (?), I chose to sit next to Takamine san.
The reason was simple and clear. I decided that I needed the help from an honor student in order to avoid red marks.
I don’t think it was out of any ulterior motive or anything like that. Maybe.

Thanks to Takamine san’s guidance, my poor math is progressing smoothly.
I think I might be able to not only avoid a red mark, but also get above average…….
I got carried away and asked more and more questions.
Takamine san answered my questions politely and without a hint of disgust.
