I thought I heard something behind me, but I pretended not to hear it. There’s no point in going out with her. I wanted her to leave me alone for now.
“Ignoring me? Hmmph, that’s pathetic, just because it’s not convenient for you.”

“…hmph.”
I didn’t speak to Yamanashi that day. Little did I know at the time that I would later regret this choice.
