“We talked…….”

Noa, wearing a cute loungewear, muttered reassuringly after the call with Aoto ended.

Perhaps she was so happy, Noa buried her face in her pillow and flapped her legs.

Actually, she wanted to talk to him at school, but it is Noa’s nature not to be able to talk to him.

It is not pride or evil thoughts.

It was simply because she was embarrassed when she saw Aoto’s face.

In any case, Noa’s feelings were completely lightened by the fact that she was able to talk to him even over the phone.

Then, letting the lightness of her heart and the tension peculiar to the night take over, she opened her phone again.

The app she opened was not a phone call, but a “talk app.”

The person to send a message to.

It was not Aoto, nor any of her classmates.

It was not her parents, nor her sister.

Noa: “Hey, are you guys awake?”

The words were sent to a group talk app for the three of them that had not been active for a while.

The time is 22:00.

There was no sign of a read receipt.

“Haaa? They already went to bed?”

Noa muttered disdainfully in response to the unread message.

However, to such Noa, “Ha?” The message was marked “read2”

The three of them, who are clearly at odds not only in words but also in actions, may be rather close.

Koharu: “What is it?”

Himari: “I’m already sleepy…”

The replies are so rough that it is hard to believe that the group have been in operation for the first time in several years.

Noa: “I thought you were sleeping. You guys are just kids.”

Himari: “I also think of Noa as a child, so I thought you were sleeping…”

Koharu: “I thought you were both sleeping.”

On balance, they don’t get along.

Really, they seem to hate each other equally.

Noa: “Well, it doesn’t matter. Regardless of that.”

Koharu: “After all Noa will said that.”

Himari: “That’s right!”

Because of their bad relationship, they say this and say that.

The conversation did not seem to be developing at all, but here Noa became the adult and proceeded with the conversation.

Noa: “Yes, yes, sorry, sorry. Can I cut to the chase?”

Noa sends an apology she doesn’t even think about in the slightest.

On this, Koharu and Himari replied sarcastically.

Himari: “I know you don’t think so, but I forgive you because Unlike the two of you, I am kind”

Koharu: “You’re not being nice when you can only talk like that. Noa gets angry easily, so I usually forgive her.”

Noa: “You’re a bit sarcastic too, aren’t you?”

Koharu: “Shut up. Please hurry up and get to the point.”

It seems as if they are on good terms, but the only thing they say to each other is negative emotion.

Starting with Koharu’s words, Noa gets down to business.

Noa: “About Aoto.”

Himari: “What about Aoto! I mean, I was the first one to talk to him.”

Koharu: “I talked to him alone too. And it was in the park at night.”

Noa dares not to say the content, but sends only “about Aoto,” and the other two begin to boast as if exploding.

Not wanting to be outdone by these two, Noa got in on the act.

Noa: “Haa? I was talking to him just now. Aoto seemed happy too.”

Koharu: “No. Aoto-kun looked the happiest when he was talking to me.”

Himari: “That can’t be true. No matter how I think about it, he was the happiest when he was talking with Himari-chan.”

Noa: “You must have fooled them with the atmosphere anyway. I talked to him properly.”

Himari: “That’s not true, though? After all, Aoto seemed to be having more fun with me.”

Koharu: “I’m sorry to interrupt your excitement, but Aoto-kun likes a calm atmosphere, so I’m the best.”

Noa: “Of course not.”

Himari: “Of course not!”

To Koharu’s words, Noa and Himari replied with the same content.

Of course, not directed only at Koharu, but at each other.

Noa was about to get down to business, but decided that if they continued talking, they would probably go in that direction on their own, so she decided not to mention it explicitly.

Himari: “Then what? Do you two think you know Aoto better than I do?”

Koharu: “What do you mean?”

Noa: “I know him too well”

Himari: “Hee, really. Then let me tell you something.”

Noa: “What? Another nonsense?”

Koharu: “I don’t expect, but I’ll ask.”

Then, after a short time, Himari sent a message.

Himari: “I still love Aoto. I’m sorry to Noa and Koharu, but I told him that too.”

Himari thinks that she is the only one who has expressed her love to Aoto, leaving Koharu and Noa aside.

Of course, such a fact is shattered by their words.

Koharu: “Sorry? What’s wrong?”

Noa: “It’s not sorry at all, it’s exactly what you want”

Himari: “Haaa?”

Koharu: “I also told him in the park at night. I told him that I still love him. I told him clearly.”

Noa: “I just told him just now, didn’t I?”

Not only Himari, but Koharu and Noa are doing the same thing.

Is it fate due to bad relations, or is it inevitable?

However, this won’t make them better friends.

As if to confirm such a fact, Himari replied.

Himari: “Hmph. It doesn’t matter. Even if the two of you are saying it, it doesn’t change the fact that I love him the most.”

Noa: “Haa? Are you crazy? I’m the one that loves him the most.”

Koharu: “I think you both are crazy. I don’t mean to be rude, but I’m the one who loves him the most. No, it’s not even rude.”

The three most beautiful girls in the school insist to each other, without Aoto’s knowledge, said that.

It was not a stunt or anything, but something they thought from the bottom of their heart.

Koharu: “My question is, did you two confirm that Aoto doesn’t have a girlfriend?”

It’s your choice who to like, but if the other person has a girlfriend, there’s no way to get him back.

No, with the beauty and character of the three of them, such a boyfriend could be taken away in a heartbeat, but people are not so degenerate as to do that, and they would rather not do it.

It is only formal, pure love.

As if to confirm such a thing, Koharu makes a confirmation.

Noa: “Eh, I-I did!”

Himari: “I-I did! Yes I did, though!”

The two are clearly upset.

They are “childhood friends,” after all. Koharu did not let them get away with it.

Koharu: “Look, you didn’t do it. I did it properly.”

Noa: “Shut up”

Himari: “Ah, annoying, so irritating”

Easily detected, Noa and Himari cannot say anything back.

Koharu’s perfect personality seemed to have got them all.

However, the three of them have known each other since childhood.

Himari and Noa could not remain unscathed.

Noa: “Well, if you’re saying that after confirming it, it means Aoto doesn’t have a girlfriend, right?”

Himari: “That’s for sure, isn’t it? If he had a girlfriend, Koharu would be the worst, wouldn’t she?”

Because of Koharu’s perfect character, this was also a confirmation that Aoto did not have a girlfriend.

If she says she likes Aoto after confirming it, that means Aoto does not have a girlfriend.

Koharu: “I-I don’t do that.”

Koharu is also understandably upset.

She doesn’t usually show this side of herself, so even a little upset is easy to see.

The fact that they have known each other since childhood, Himari and Noa can see right through her.

Yoaoi: “You’re lying, Yeah.”

Noa: “You’re too bad at lying.”

Koharu, who had said earlier, “I confirmed it”.

They feel that it’s no longer a fuss about being bad at it, but let’s just say that it’s the charm of Koharu’s overly perfect personality.

Noa: “At any rate, Aoto doesn’t have a girlfriend.”

Himari: “You don’t have to tell me, though…”

Koharu: “Hmph. I wish you hadn’t said anything unnecessary.”

This clears up all three of our concerns.

Now that they know that Aoto does not have a girlfriend, they have only one point of focus.

Noa: “Well, he’s my Hekito. You two go away.”

Koharu: ‘That’s harsh. He’s my Aoto-kun.”

Himari: “You two go away. I’m telling you, he’s my Aoto.”

—so, who owns Aoto

The three, who are convinced that he is their Aoto, write their love for him as if to prove it.

And it is as if they are waging a prelude to a great love war.

Koharu: “Well, shall we have a game to see who can drop Aoto-kun?”

Noa: “It’s useless to try. I’m bound to win. Well, I don’t mind if I do it for you?”

Himari: “Not a problem? I’m gonna do my best to make him Himari-chan’s partner!”

Noa, who denies it at first out of pride and accepts it in the end, and Himari, who accepts it honestly.

Although the way of acceptance is different, there is one thing that all three of them have in common.

That is that they are all confident and do not have the slightest vision of losing.

Koharu: “I see. Well then, I am going to bed. Please do your best tomorrow at best. Good night.”

Noa: “That is my line, you idiot. Good night.”

Himari: “I’m going to be the first one to leave those two behind! Good night!”

The three of them leave sarcastic comments, but they never fail to say “good night”.

Once again, one could be forgiven for thinking that the three of them are good friends, but they are the ones who have fought the prelude to the “Great War of Love” in which they will compete for Aoto.

With “determination” that they will never let Aoto go and “confidence” that they will never lose, the three of them go to sleep.

The occasional chirping of bell bugs sounds as if they are cheering for the three of them.
