“I like the idea of having yakiniku at home.”
Reisa was enjoying yakiniku in a room filled with smoke and smells while saying something very shallow.
Nagisa was busy tending to the meat with a pair of tongs.
She was a yakiniku master, or perhaps she was a yakiniku master, as she volunteered to be in charge of the grilling and never let go of the tongs.
I left it to them to buy the meat, but to be honest, I felt uneasy inside.
I was worried that they might buy extremely expensive meat.

“You have an older brother?”

Everyone who gathers there has their own quirks and they all boast about how smart they are.
“I’d like to go abroad, too.”
If it were in a nearby country, it would be a good idea, but if it were in an English-speaking country, it would cost a lot of money.
I’m interested in studying abroad, but I want to concentrate on my studies.
That’s why I haven’t had a chance to travel abroad, but it is true that I would like to do so.
Reisa responded to my words.

“That easy?”
“Well, I’ve been back and forth so often.”
“Fufu, that may be a good idea. Exposing yourself to foreign cultures while you can could help you deepen your knowledge. For example, you could learn about world history while you’re there.”

“I’m going back for a few days in the summer, so would you like to come with me then?”

A trip to France would certainly help me learn world history, and a trip to France would be fun to begin with.

I chewed the rest of the meat as I watched the two of them having a conversation I couldn’t quite understand.
