After leaving the departure prier, we came to Kyoto Tree, which is right next to the station. We are going to visit my grandma and grandpa’s house in the evening, so we will be sightseeing in Kyoto for a while.

“As I thought, it’s a nice view.”

“Right, you can see Kiyomizu-dera temple there, and it looks just like Kyoto.”

“You can even see the direction of Osaka, so you have to take a good look.”

We are looking around from the observation deck on the 11th floor of the Kyoto Tree. The view from the observation room is quite spectacular, offering a 360-degree view of the city of Kyoto. After wandering around for a while, I notice something unusual in the observation deck and stop to take a look.

“A Tsuririn Shrine? Why is there a shrine here?”

Tsuririn Shrine was built to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Kyoto Tree, which is based on the mascot character Tsuririn. By the way, it is the tallest shrine in Kyoto.

“Wow, so this is a proper shrine, huh?”

I had no idea that there was such a shrine inside the Kyoto Tree, but Kano san seemed to know exactly what it was. I remember there was also a shrine in the Tokyo Tree called the Tree Grand Shrine.

“I see, Kano san was well aware of the existence of this shrine.”

“This is another place I’ve been wanting to visit, just like Prier, where we left earlier.”

“…So does that mean there will be a blessing in love?”

“Yes, Tsuririn Shrine brings good luck for love and good marriage.”

I see. So that’s why Kano san was pushing me so hard to go to Kyoto Tree. While I was thinking that, Kano san was buying an ema (votive tablet). She seemed to be ready to write on it.

“What are you going to write on the ema?”

“On the contrary, what do Yuito want me to write on it?”

Kano san responded to my question with a grin. Yeah, this is definitely someone who will cause trouble no matter how I answer.

“Erm….for Kano san and I to get along?”

“Then, no matter how many times we are reborn in the eternity of the future, I will write that I hope that in all universes, past and future, Yuuki Kano and Kujo Yuito will be able to be get along forever.”

It’s true that it’s based on what I said, but there are obviously a lot of dangerous words added to it.

“No, no, you added too many words.”

“But I think the meaning is pretty much the same.”

“I strongly recommend that you look up the meaning of “roughly” on your phone.”

“Yes, yes.”

Kano san, who seemed to have overheard my words, actually wrote down what she said earlier on the ema. The ema, written in beautiful handwriting, has a tremendous impact from the wording.

“……Are you really going to display this?”

“Of course, that’s why I wrote it.”

“I think everyone who sees it will be completely taken aback by it…..”

I’ve been thinking for a while now that Kano san might have too much of an intense emotional attachment to me. For a moment, I imagined a future in which I would be stabbed to death after receiving an apology or farewell message if I refused her confession.

Well, Kano san would never do such a thing, but we would definitely not be able to have the same relationship as before. If that were to happen, there is a strong possibility that Kano san and I would gradually become estranged and stop talking to each other. Just thinking about it made my heart ache a little.

“The ema was in place, so let’s go have lunch.”

“Let’s go to a restaurant then.”

We took the elevator to the third floor and entered a restaurant called Tree Terrace. The restaurant is a buffet style restaurant and is apparently quite popular, but since it was still a little early in the day, we were able to get in right away.

“The view from the window is really beautiful, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, that’s why I hear it’s more popular at night.”

It is true that the night view would look great with a glass of wine in the background.

“Then let’s go get the food.”

“Yes, let’s go.”

Kano san and I both got up and went to get our own food. It looks like we’ll have a lot of fun not only with the food but also with the sweets.

“……Oh, this fried rice has shrimp in it.”

“Oh right, Kano san has always had a problem with shrimp, right?”

We returned to our seats and started eating, but Kano san froze when she said that. Apparently she didn’t notice it because it was buried in the fried rice.

“It would be a waste to leave it, so could you please eat it?”

“I understand.”

“Here, aahn.”

“……Eh?”

As I was about to reach for my chopsticks, Kano san put them on a spoon and brought them to my mouth.

“Well, weren’t you going to eat it?”

“I said I would eat them, but wouldn’t it be a little bit awkward to feed me? It would be an indirect kiss.”

“Indirect kissing is nothing new. We used to do it all the time when we were kids.”

“It’s not like back then.”

Unlike when I was a child when I was not conscious of Kano san at all, now I’m very conscious of her, so it’s not good to kiss her indirectly.

“It’s not like we’re going to kiss her or have sex, so it’s fine.”

“…..I understand.”

I succumbed to Kano san’s pressure and had no choice but to open my mouth. Kano san saw this and put a spoon into my mouth with a satisfied look on her face. Of course, there was no way I could tell what it tasted like.
