Episode 14 – I want this cold-hearted beautiful girl by my side

After spending about an hour with her by my side, I thought it was about time to go to bed, so I called out to Nanase.
“Nanase, it’s about time to go to bed.”
“…..”
“…..Nanase?”
When she didn’t respond, I peeked under the umbrella and saw that she had closed her eyes and was sleeping peacefully.
“Seriously……”
She’s completely asleep…..
Seeing her sleeping with such a relaxed expression, she looked so defenseless that it made me feel extremely uneasy.
(But it’s good that we live together.)
If Nanase and I lived separately, I would have to contact her parents and have them come pick her up, or wake her up and take her home myself, but since we live together, there’s no need for such trouble. It’s fine to let her sleep here until morning.
Well, that doesn’t mean I can just leave her here, though.
I need to get Nanase into the bed in the room. To do that, I have to move her, but waking her up and having her walk is probably impossible given how deeply she’s sleeping. That leaves only one option.
“…Well, I guess I have to do it.”
I supported Nanase as I slowly stood up from the sofa and laid her down on her side.
She was still sleeping soundly.
“I’m going to touch you a little.”
Even though she was asleep, I gave her a quick warning before supporting her back and legs from below and lifting her up.
…She’s light.
Her body was as light as a small child’s.
Is she eating properly? Well, knowing Nanase, she probably takes good care of herself in that regard.
I carried Nanase out of the living room, managed to open the door to her room, and gently laid her on the bed.
Fortunately, she didn’t wake up and was sleeping soundly.
(Good, she’s not awake.)
It seems I managed to carry her out safely.
Still, seeing Nanase’s sleeping face makes me smile.
As I observed Nanase’s sleeping face, I noticed that her chest had shifted slightly during the move.
Two large mounds were visible, and I quickly looked away.
This is too stimulating…! !
I tried not to look at Nanase too much as I covered her with the blanket.
“Alright, this should be fine.”
I can’t fix that, and she’ll probably fix it herself when she wakes up. My job is done.
I looked at Nanase’s sleeping face one last time and said quietly,
“Good night, Nanase.”
As I was about to leave the room, she grabbed my sleeve tightly.
When I turned around, Nanase was still with her eyes closed, weakly holding onto my sleeve.
“…Don’t go.”
“Nanase, are you awake?”
I thought so, but it seemed like she was just talking in her sleep.
As I tried to leave the room again, I heard her say more clearly than before.
“Don’t…go…”
“……”
What kind of dream is she having…I can’t just leave her like this.
I turned back and sat down on the floor.
I took her hand, which was clutching my sleeve, and whispered gently.
“I won’t go anywhere, don’t worry. Just relax and go back to sleep.”
Satisfied with my words, she smiled and once again looked happy.
I wanted to go to sleep, but it seemed like I wouldn’t be able to leave her alone. I had no choice but to spend the night here.
In the end, I couldn’t sleep much and just kept staring at Nanase’s sleeping face.
