“Well, we’re here at last.”
“I knew it would take a while, but it took a while.
We arrived at Universe Land and were talking about such things while taking pictures in front of the entrance. It had taken us nearly three hours and thirty minutes from the time we left home to the time we arrived here.
“Let’s go in right away, then.”
“Yeah, I’m looking forward to it.”
We walked through the entrance gate, showing the ticket we had received as a prize, and saw a big Ferris wheel, a roller coaster, and a merry-go-round.
Since Universe Land is a theme park based on Hollywood movies, each attraction is said to have elements of those movies.
There are so many interesting attractions that it’s hard to decide which one to ride first.
“There are so many different attractions, I can understand why you would be confused.”
We started talking about which attraction we would ride while looking at the pamphlet. As a result of our discussion, we decided on Viking as our first memorable attraction.
Viking, by the way, seems to be based on the movie Pirates of the Atlantic. We arrived at Viking on foot and saw a long line of people waiting for their turn to enter.
“Viking seems to be quite popular,”
“I guess everyone likes the screamers, right?”
Considering that the roller coasters and water rides we passed by on our way here also had long lines, it seems that the screamers are very popular. We were not sure whether we would ride or not when we saw how long the line was, but we decided to wait because we had plenty of time to spare after two days and one night.
“Speaking of which, Alice, have you told your family that you’re going to stay overnight in Universe Land?”
“I have, what’s wrong?”
“No, you see, I was wondering if they didn’t object to the fact that you’re staying over and going with me, a guy.”
“Yeah, I told them I was going with my boyfriend.”
Alice replied calmly, but was it really okay? Or do you say I’m your boyfriend to your family?
“Am I the only one who feels …… that it’s definitely not okay?”
If I were Alice’s parents, I feel like if she was a high school student and she told me she was going on an overnight trip with her boyfriend, I’d definitely be against it. How in the world did she convince them of that?
“Don’t worry, my parents are rather carefree. If they weren’t, I would never have been able to live alone like I am now.”
“……I see, you’re right.”
Hearing those persuasive words convinced me a lot. There is no doubt if that her parents, who are very strict in this area, would never allow her to live alone.
After a while of chatting and waiting, it was finally our turn. After the safety bar was lowered, an announcement was made and the boat slowly began to rock.
At first, the rocking was not that scary, but as time went by, it became more and more violent.
“I-it’s more violent than I thought it would be,”
“That’s good.”
I was a little scared, but Alice looked like she was having a lot of fun. After that, we got off the boat and started looking at the brochures again, discussing which attractions we would like to ride next.
“I think I’m tired of riding the screamers two times in a row, so why don’t we try something a little more gentle next time?”
“Hmm, maybe a coffee cup next time?”
“Yeah, let’s do that.”
I thought coffee cups would be okay, especially since there is no screaming factor, but I soon realized that I was wrong.
“Hey, Alice, we’re spinning too much. we’re going to get drunk if you keep going like this.”
“Eeh, I can’t hear you.”
As soon as Alice got on the coffee cup, she started to turn the handlebars as hard as she could. Even though I stopped her, she seemed to have no intention of quitting and kept spinning the wheel. As a result, I got completely drunk and ended up on the bench.
“Takuma, I bought you a Coke.”
“Thanks …….”
Alice went all the way to a nearby vending machine to buy me a soda because she knew that soda is an effective remedy for motion sickness.
I was feeling a little sorry because the vending machines at theme parks have crazy high prices, but when I thought about it, I realized that it was all Alice’s fault, so my guilt faded quickly.
I mean, we should have been on the same cup of coffee, so why wasn’t Alice drunk at all? That’s what I’m wondering.
“Well then, I’ll make you drink it.”
“?!”
As soon as she finished saying that, Alice opened the plastic bottle in her hand, put a Coke in her mouth, pressed her lips to mine, which was lying on the bench, and forced it down my throat. What in the world was she thinking when there were normal people around?
“H-hey, what are you doing all of a sudden?”
“I just gave you a mouthful to drink.”
When I protested, Alice dismissed my protests with a nonchalant tone of voice. I doubt it, but I don’t think Alice purposely got me drunk with the coffee cup because she wanted to do this. It was scary because it seemed like something that would normally happen with Alice.
