“Sendai kun, you’re going to be late for school. Hurry up and get up.”

“N-nn……ah, good morning Shion. But it’s summer vacation.”

“You’re already half asleep. Today is school day, right? Come on, wake up.”

More than half of the summer vacation has passed.

I’m still living at home with Shion.

At school, there are no longer any people who make a fuss about us.

On the contrary, recently my classmates have been talking to me a lot because they are curious about how I spend my days with Shion.

Well, they always talk about things that sound like love.

She is a good cook, a strong person, beautiful, smart, and loves me.

When I talk about these things, everyone seems to laugh at me.

“Sendai kun, you really are weak in the morning. But I also like it when you show me that you’re not so lazy.”

However, even if nothing exciting happens or dramatic developments occur, every day is new and I’m very happy.

Shion and I met and fell in love with each other as a result of a series of coincidences.

But I think that is normal.　

Nothing is inevitable.

We happen to live near each other, happen to be close in age, and happen to go to school together in such a big country like Japan.

It is through a series of such miraculous events that people are connected.

People who would never have crossed paths if they had not had a chance to get to know each other, to love each other, and to spend the same time together.

So all I can do is enjoy each day and be thankful for this coincidence.

We rode the train again today.

The sea of Akaitohama seen from the window of the train is gradually getting farther and farther away.
