“I’ll help you with your cosplay.”

At Snow Tops, where I was summoned by Noeru, the person who was suddenly introduced to me was not her parents, but a junior gal named …… Hazuki Yuiri.

Certainly a gal might know a lot about fashion, but what about …… cosplay?

It seems to me that fashion is a different thing than …… fashion, but if she’s strong in that area as well, then maybe she’s an otaku gal ……?

Is there such a thing as a otaku-friendly gal, or otaku-gal, a fantasy creature that actually exists?

“Hnn? What’s the matter, Haruki paisen?
You’ve been staring at me for a while now.”

“Hey, Haruki ……, she’s just a junior of mine who helps me with cosplay work, you know? As always, you can’t look at her in a sexual way, can you?”

“I’m not looking at her that way! What do you mean by ‘as usual’?”

“Eh, are you excited to see me, Haruki paisen? Wow, that’s creepy.”

Hazuki laugh at me

There’s nothing cute about it. It’s just gross.

“A-Anyway, you’re going to take a look at all the cosplayers in our class, right?”

“I told you so. Noeru paisen didn’t tell you?”

I haven’t heard anything at all. ……

When I looked sideways at Noeru, she glared back at me.

Do you have something to complain about? She seemed to be trying to say that.

I’m sure that if she had told me beforehand that she wanted me to meet with a junior gal, I would have been reluctant to do so.

“Well, that’s okay. I think cosplay is a pretty special kind of thing, are you an otaku or something?”

“No? I’m not an otaku or anything like that.”

“Eh, in other words, Noeru scouted out junior gal who can make clothes?”

“It’s okay, it’s okay! I’m good at making clothes. I’m in the sewing department.”

“S-sewing club?”

T-This gal …… keeps coming up with one unsettling word after another.

Like Noeru, she has a Harvard-level physique, but in other respects, she’s not a natural gal, right?

“Oh, you just made fun of our sewing club, didn’t you? I’m telling you, our sewing club is serious! We have club activities four times a week, and we make clothes and stuff until 5:00 p.m!”

“No, it’s more like normal……… To begin with, classes end around 4:00 p.m., but 5:00 p.m…”

“Haruki from the homecoming club may not know this, but the culture club at high school is full of fun club activities where 80% of students are free to participate. It’s a real club that stays until 5pm four days a week.”

Still, isn’t that too low a bar for a “hardcore” club?

“Besides, none of the committee members, including myself, have ever made clothes before, have we?”

“That’s certainly true. Sayu probably doesn’t look like that either.”

“That’s a fatal problem. An organization won’t run if it just gathers us.”

“Hey Noeru Paisen. If that’s the case, I’d be like a supporting character… Well, even if it’s not as good as Noeru Paisen, this is still one of the best in the whole year.”

“Anyway! I’ve decided to leave the cosplay to Hazuki. From now on, as soon as the budget is decided, I’ll take Hazuki’s advice and work on the clothes together. Is that okay?”

“Y-yeah…… of course.”

Thus, Hazuki agreed to help us produce cosplay for our class.

“But Hazuki, are you sure you want to do this? After school, you could be getting ready for your own class, couldn’t you?”

“Oh, don’t worry, it’ll be fine. I’m going to exhibit the artwork I drew in my class.”

“A-an exhibition? Is that even possible?”

“Yes, it is possible. However, if a large number of classes request an exhibit, it will be decided by lottery.”

If that’s the case, then our class should not have had that kind of exhibit, so there would have been no conflict among the girls.

Suddenly, I thought so, but it must be because Noeru herself didn’t like it.

Noeru insisted that she didn’t want to hold a cultural festival that interfere with each other, but rather that she wanted to have a cultural festival that was like a salad bowl, where each person’s individuality was mixed and they firmly expressed their opinions.

The cosplay cafe should be one where the two attributes, gal and honor student, mix together for better or worse.

In that light, surely getting advice from a first-year student, Hazuki, would be in line with the concept, in a way.

“I heard from Noeru that Haruki paisen is good at cooking, isn’t he?”

“I-it’s not that I’m good at it.”

“As a matter of fact, I’m a member of the cooking club! If you want, you can join us too. I’m having a hard time carrying the ingredients because there are no boys around.”

“I’m just a baggage handler.”

“Ah, but, but! There are only girls now, and Haruki Paisen has a pretty good look, so I’m sure he’ll be popular!”

“Well, that’s..huh?”

As I was receiving the invitation, a long, white hand holding a frappe suddenly reached out from the side.

“No, no… Haruki is mine… that’s why.”

“Eh? I can’t hear you. What is Haruki Paisen from Noeru Paisen?”

Hazuki asks Noeru with a teasing look on her face, as if she’s resentful of being treated as a supporting role earlier.

On the other hand, Noeru, who has been aggravated, for some reason, becomes tight-lipped.

It can’t be helped. I’ll give her a helping hand as well.

“Um, I’d be in trouble if you misunderstood, but that’s not the kind of relationship between Noeru and I—”

“H-he told me he’d cook for me every night! So I promised to do something for him too!”

“You!? What’s with that explanation? she’ll get the wrong idea!”

“Haha! Haruki paisen, you’re so direct!♡”

“T-That’s not what I meant!”

After that, it took many minutes to clear up the misunderstanding.
