The bazaar somehow ended without a hitch, despite all the twists and turns. With a pleasant sense of fatigue and a fresh sense of accomplishment in our hearts, we had a small after party.

“Sorry ! ! Hanazono san ! ! I’m so sorry ! !”

“Ahaha……it’s okay, I’ve had you apologize to me many times already.”

In the classroom where the sun was setting, a female student was crying and hugging Kanna while apologizing.

“B-but…I said a lot of things that hurt Hanazono san…I’m really sorry ! !”

Kanna looked bewildered and patted the girl’s backs as if to soothe her. The classmates in the classroom applauded her touching gesture.

“Hey, Itsuki. What are we being shown?”

“Don’t say anything more, Asakura. I don’t know either.”

“Aside from the badmouthing behind your back. It’s good to be able to apologize.”

Sasatsuki says with a knowing look on her face as she stuffs her mouth with sweets whose origin is unknown. It’s true that the girl who was crying and hugging Kanna and apologizing to Kanna in the ongoing tense was the same girl who was badmouthing her.

However, since Kanna herself did not directly hear that comment, she must be wondering why she is being apologized to like this

“Well, whatever the case may be. I’m really glad that the bazaar went off without a hitch despite everything that happened.”

“Moreover, Katsuragi sensei said that it was the highest sales in history. That means we’ve left our mark on history.”

Sasatsuki makes a smug face, but it’s ruined because she has sweet powder on her mouth. However, as the two of them said, the deer antler accessories were a huge success, setting a new record for sales.

Moreover, they sold out so quickly that many people were unable to buy them. The principal even suggested that Kanna’s company make and sell them.

The only reason I was able to come up with this idea was because Kanna kept the strap I had given her.

“According to what I heard, the previous record was set by Katsuragi sensei’s senior. What’s more, it’s said that he continued to break the record for three years in a row.”

When I heard Asakura say with a wry smile, I was impressed and my mind flashed to the image of my teacher smiling nihilistically while smoking a cigarette.

“Don’t worry, we just need to do the same and break the record for three years in a row.”

“Fufu. I’m sure there’s nothing we can’t do. Isn’t that right, Itsuki?”

“If we can use Ultra C again like we did this time, it might be possible.”

However rare antler accessories may be in urban areas, there is one more factor that has caused such a strong response.

That’s one article. The content was a feature on the annual bazaar held at Amanohashidate Academy.

The article was mainly about Jinpei’s class, and included a photo of Kanna and other classmates happily making deer antler accessories.

At the end, Kanna commented, [It’s so much fun to be able to work together and create things.]

“I contacted my manager, who was on a relaxing vacation, to find out the contact information for the reporter and the boss. I did my best.”

“I then contacted those reporters and told them I would be happy to give them a solo interview, which I rarely get. On the condition that they write a feature for the bazaar.”

The instigators of this article were none other than Asakura and Sasatsuki.

Sasatsuki had previously mentioned the [Hammurabi Code] strategy, in other words, to digest an offensive article, another article would be thrown.

Of course, they had to pay a small price-Asakura was interviewed alone, but this helped to restore Kanna’s impression, and moreover, the bazaar attracted more people than usual and the accessories were sold out. It was a win-win situation.

“Thank you both for your help with Kanna.”

“It’s fine. Just like Kanna is an important childhood friend to Itsuki, Kanna is an important friend to me. If I’m in a pinch, you better help me just like you did for Kanna.'”

“Me too. Although she’s a bit of a slut, Hanazono is my best friend. This is not a big deal.”

After saying this in a light tone of voice, the two of them headed down to Kanna who was asking for help. The girl who had been crying and being hugged was still there, and everyone else was giving her a hard time. It was understandable that Kanna, who has often been alone but never the other way around, panicked. Well, she seems to be having fun, so I’ll leave the support to Asakura and Sasatsuki.

“I didn’t expect you to bring deer antlers. And you processed that amount of antlers all by yourself, didn’t you? That must have been quite a lot of work.”

While I was standing by the window watching my childhood friend in a daze, Wada approached me, holding a glass of juice in both hands. I took it from him and answered with a cowering shoulder.

“I didn’t do everything by myself. I had help from my grandfather and my mentor. I worked on it for three days without sleep, and then it was done.”

“Itsuki. You may be talking about it like it’s nothing, but it’s pretty crazy isn’t it? You should be a little more aware of the fact that you’re insane, you know?”

“Ahaha…as expected, I’m tired, I’ll head home first. Please give my regards to everyone.”

Well then, I say that and leave the classroom. When I checked on Kanna before leaving, I found her surrounded by her classmates and smiling happily.

“I guess she’ll be all right.”

Kanna is no longer alone. With mixed feelings of happiness and loneliness, I headed home.
