“…..This is the place you wanted to visit?”
“Yes ! I saw it in a magazine the other day and was curious about it !”
The restaurant Fuyusaki wanted to go to was a cake buffet restaurant located two floors down from the movie theater.
“Erm, aren’t we going to have lunch?”
“Wouldn’t cake count as lunch?”
I was going to answer, [No] but she looked really dazzling and I swallowed my words.
“C’mon ! Let’s get going right away !”
With a skip in her step, Fuyusaki walked into the store.
I wondered how it would feel to have cake for lunch, but since she seemed to be in a better mood, it was all good.
When I entered the restaurant, I felt a little self-conscious because there were only female customers.
Even though it was lunchtime, the place was crowded, and girls of about the same age were happily eating cake.
We take a tray and choose the cakes we want to eat.
I chose simple cakes such as Mont Blanc and shortcake, but Fuyusaki actively chose cakes that were only available in season or cakes with unusual fruits.
She seemed to be enjoying herself so much that even I couldn’t help but smile.
After I had finished picking out some of the cakes, I took my seat and started eating them.
The simpler the cake, the easier it is to compare the taste with other stores, but the cakes here are all delicious and rank among the best I have ever eaten.
“They’re even better than I imagined.”
“I know, right ! I wanted us both to come here when I found it !”
Fuyusaki looks happy and shy, but perhaps she has lost her nervousness and is no longer using her usual honorific language.
I realized this myself and felt a little embarrassed.
“…..You don’t have to use honorifics.”
“Eh?”
“I said, you don’t have to use honorifics in front of me.”
The reason Fuyusaki usually uses honorifics is to avoid getting too close to people.
In the past, she used to isolate herself by showing too much of that side of herself.
Even now that she is not so isolated, she still puts up a wall of honorifics to avoid getting too close to people.
“I can understand it if it’s your classmates and such, but not for me. ….I’m your boyfriend, after all.”
After I said it, I felt embarrassed myself and turned my face away.
Looking at me like that, Fuyusaki smiles.
“…In that case, I’ll do that. Ke-Keshiro kun.”
“Eh?”
I asked back unintentionally.
“No, um ? It’s kinda awkward when I call you by your last name. ….I’m your girlfriend after all.”
Seeing Fuyusaki say this while fidgeting, I also loosened my mouth.
“That’s right. Reina.”
When I said that, Reina looked up and looked happy.
At the same time, both of us felt itchy to say anything, and we finished eating the cake without speaking.

“The movie was interesting !”
“I haven’t seen many romance movies, but there are quite a few scenes that make me wanna cry.”
We watched the movie as planned and entered the impression phase.
Since it was the first day of the movie’s release, the seats were full, and as one might expect, the ratio of women was high.
Whether it was the actors or the story that people were looking for, the movie was off to a good start for its opening day.
The story itself was interesting, and even though I’m not interested in romance movies, I enjoyed it a lot.
Fuyusaki seemed to be very satisfied with the movie and her tension was high.
As we were walking along, I noticed a flier for a game center.
“What’s wrong?”
Fuyusaki asked me, looking at the flier in front of my eyes.
It said, [Two free crane games with movie ticket stub !] It was written on the flier.
“Come to think of it….I haven’t played the crane game for a while.”
“I’ve never played it.”
“Eh? Seriously?
“Y-yes…is that so weird?”
Not weird, but I thought it was unusual.
However, this is just from a boy’s perspective, so maybe some of the girls have never been to an arcade.
Fuyusaki seems to be interested in the UFO catcher in the arcade.
“……Wanna try it for a bit?”
I suggested, and Fuyusaki nodded with a twinkle in her eye.
